Seagersbaby how did the scan go?
Well we told the in laws (separately as my MIL was doing a late night), so my FIL said "oh well thats a bit of a financial shock" (MIL said it takes a while for him to process big news) while my MIL squealed and shouted oh my god (she works in ballantynes)and started crying. We explained that we wouldn't have told them but my morning sickness is getting worse and i dont need stress of hiding it and they completely understood. So happy it went well this time!

Hey guys,
I just had a scan and found I'm due 11 August with #2. So 6 weeks 5 days right now. DD is only 10 months - this one is a happy surprise :) We are definitely planning to find out the sex as soon as we can.
At the scan they detected a heartbeat which was awesome! But the radiographer pointed out a small amount of separation of the sac or something which she explained will probably cause some spotting. When I asked if it meant an increased chance of MC, she said 'its not a predictor. it may or may not pull the sac out with it'. Eek! I'm not sure what the chances are but we are praying our little one will make it.
Planning on telling the grandparents (and other immediate family) on christmas day.

hi ladies, floating in and out of here and july as got put back 2 weeks at scans. lmp means due 29 july but scan saying 11 aug. had a miscarriage august this year so had a freak out when 1st scan put me back 2 weeks, but scan on wednesday saw a healthy little bean with a good heart beat so happy as now :)

Congrats gsbuni :) Being pregnant after a miscarriage is so hard, stay strong - I'm sure you'll end up with a healthy little peanut. A heartbeat is a great sign.

HI Mamaofboys - scan went ok, they couldnt detect a heartbeat because i was a few days earlier than we thought which actually put me under 6 weeks, but im having another scan this Friday so that should be good, but yeah it was quite emotional seeing little pip and i mean little lol
Im glad your news went better then the time before, im sure some people just dont think before they speak and realise the effect that their words can sometimes have, especially when the hormones are kicking in, which mine definitely are!

Merry Christmas ladies!! hope you all managed to keep some food in, i discovered that bubs seems to be ok with lamb but not chicken or beef or pav lol. Had a very long day but today has been nice and quiet, slept most of the morning.
Have been having a few minor twinges on my right side low down so i'm thinking i will get it checked out when my doctors opens next week just to be safe (and it also helps that doctors appointments are free!)
Am unfortunately having to travel on saturday to oamaru and back on sunday to see family which is a 3 hour drive i'm not looking forward to it but im glad fam know so we'll take our time and have a motel to stay in so can leave for a lie down if i need!

Well, I had a scan the week before Christmas which put my dates back a bit. So I must have ov'd later than I thought.
EDD is now 12th August and I'm 7w5d.
I got a cute photo of my wee jellybean from them though, looks more like a blob than anything, but she showed me a good heartbeat which I was rapt about.
I'm hating my body right now though, since Christmas I seriously now have a tummy!!! OMG! No one knew I was pregnant with #2 till I was about 6 months but right now my tummy looks like I AM 6 months along.
I've been feeling so disheartened.
The nausea isn't helping either. It comes and goes, and I'm really really tired. Napping most days!
I'm finding eating helps the nausea but I'm terrified I'll be as big as a house soon even though I'm trying to stick with fairly healthy snacks.

Originally I thought 2nd August by lmp dates. But it was a bit hit and miss because of the miscarriage. So I wasn't sure.
That was why I had the dating scan too, partly to check that things were progressing this time, unlike last time.
According to the scans this edd is 12th August and I think we will find out, but I haven't decided yet whether to make everyone else suffer and wait hahaha

Hi All I am expecting my 2nd baby - due 17/8/2013 :) Our first baby was born 1.3.2009 - Roman, now nearly 4 years old.
We will be finding out the sex of the baby - can't wait :)
Had a ruptured ectopic pregnancy at 8 weeks a couple of years ago, lost my right fallopian tupe - so I had a internal scan the other week to check that it is in the correct place this time - and yay the sac is! We are very happy! :) Now it is fingers crossed that this baby will be healthy and not have any serious health issues this time xoxoxo
