Hi missK. Generally there are a few things to consider when looking to get help.
Firstly, did you just come off the injection 1 year ago? It can take up to a year after coming off the pill or injection for your body to sort itself out, so I'd allow a bit of extra time there.
Secondly, what are your cycles like? If you've been having regular 28 - 35 day cycles for the last year, then I'd probably look at getting your hubby tested to see if everything is ok there. If your cycles are very irregular or longer than 35 days then I'd get the doctors to check you for things like PCOS and confirm you are actually ovulating (you can get periods without ovulating, but you can't ovulate and not get a period). I used to have 40ish day random cycles and didn't ovulate a few years back.
Thirdly, do you have any family members with fertility issues? If there is some family history, then it's a good idea to check checked out with basic tests. If not, and since you're young, I'd probably just concentrate on healthy living for the next 6 mths and try not to worry about things as much as possible!

Ah, sorry, I read it as on the injection for 2 years, not off. Since you have regular cycles and have been off for that long, I'd probably start the fertility testing process now. You can either go to your doctor who can do some basic blood tests etc, or you can go straight to a fertility clinic like Fertility Associates etc and pay for a private appointment where they'll put you through all the standard tests to see if there is any reason you haven't conceived yet. Costs around $300, which includes blood tests and a scan for you, plus they'll probably do a sperm test (which costs around $100). Depending on what the tests do or don't show will determine what happens next. If they can't find anything they'll probably recommend trying longer, otherwise they'll recommend a course of treatment.

Good luck!

Yep what Mushroom said. I'd start down the investigation route as if you need help there can be a lot of waiting involved. We tried two years before I managed to get mine bloke to get tested and boom no sperm so that was ages wasted, 3.5 yrs from that point we're still trying to get the magic happening. I was 26 when we started. I don't say any of that to scare you, more to encourage you to be proactive :)
The very best of luck and hope you get your bfp soon.

My husband has infertility of unknown origin. Probably, there is a reason for certain, but so far we have not found it, although we have already passed a lot of tests. Six years ago I had even one pregnancy, she ended with a miscarriage at the time of 6 weeks. After that, all tests were clean. We did the first IVF two years ago. A good doctor, a good kind of embryology, although it irritated the constant waiting of his turn at the office for two hours. You come by car to receptions, and after the road - again you sit and wait. They came home terribly tired. But then we were sure that everything would turn out. We did not even have implantation, nor in the fresh protocol, nor in two cryo.

We collected documents for a new attempt, where we learned about the clinic in Ukraine. There were very few reviews, but we took a chance. Now every evening I bless the moment when we decided to do IVF here. They paid for it. we made it. I do not know why here, in Kiev. Like preparations the same, even ovules have taken 10, as well as in that clinic. Why did our baby decide to stay with us after all? Maybe because the protocol was quiet, without straining. Somehow slowly, with a smile. I really do not know.

You can not imagine how happy it is to look at two strips! Of course, I was terribly nervous, I was afraid again. But so everyone is afraid. But this is such happiness! Thanks to the great clinic biotexcom for the happiness of being parents!

Hello, dear Vic, I'm very pleased that you have succeeded. Probably, when a person completely loses faith, life presents him a surprise. Or it's just your reward for such a long hard times. There are people who all get it easily, and some people have to fight for every moment of happiness. Not always everything is fair in our life and destiny and not always everything works out! Not every girl with such problems can experience the happiness of motherhood. Sometimes, when something does not work out, you just need to let go of the situation and stop thinking about it. And sometimes, on the contrary, to solve a difficult situation, you need to struggle and wait for a long time. Wait, when fate will smile to you. But in any case, I'm very happy for you, it's so wonderful. I have always liked strong and strong-willed people, they just delight me. And you are the same strong-willed and strong person who, despite any obstacles, has not left and has not renounced your dream. After all, there is such a proverb: "The road will be mastered by the walking man." And this means that you need to try, you need to fight. Thank you for your sincerity and openness. Such stories inspire many women and give them strength to fight and new achievements.

Hello missK! I'm so sorry you couldn't conceive during last year. You should definitely visit a doctor. They will give you the knowledge about medical state of your health. You should do the whole medical check to know what the reason of your unsuccessful TTC. I would advise you do this as soon as possible. As I know it is considered to be "ok" if you don't get pregnant during first year of trying. After a year if you don't get pregnant you should visit a doctor. This’s important for both you and your partner to make a thorough check of your health. I'm not saying that you for sure have some problems with fertility. Maybe it's not the time yet and very soon you will get pregnant and everything will be fine. But just to make sure that your fertility is in perfect condition, you should visit a specialist. I hope you will find the reason of your inability to conceive. I wish you best of luck!

I agree with comments above. You should see your doctor. Only they can tell what's happening with you. I'd advise you to do this asap and not to waste time. I don't think your symptoms show that you can't conceive, but still only doctor can tell. Even if there are problems with fertility, there are treatments, which can help for sure. I wish you all the best!

Hi, thank you for sharing your rather difficult story with us. Yes, indeed, there are a lot of positive reviews about this clinic at the moment. In addition, I recently got acquainted with their channel on YouTube. It was there that I was able to pick up a lot of interesting information. Each video is devoted to a particular topic. And the employee of the clinic is very accessible gives answers to various actual questions. Did you visit their YouTube channel before the trip? My friends are going to go there for a preliminary consultation soon. First of all, they are interested in is the question of surrogacy. How did you like the service provision in this clinic? Do you know anything about the level of service regarding surrogacy? In my opinion, this clinic is the best option in Ukraine. Equally attractive is the fact that they provide accommodation for their clients. This will allow foreigners not to waste time and finances in search of housing. In addition, finding good housing for an indefinite period in another country is not easy at all. If we take into account the cost of living, not just the living conditions. Therefore, I fully agree with you, this is quite a good option in my opinion, so ...

I would advise you to go see a gp anyways. Whatever your health is, if you were unable to conceive in a year there are chances that you would benefit from the help of a specialist.

And it is always better to take care of yourself. just undergo a few tests and see if there is anything wrong. if not, continue trying. you are still young! Good luck.
