I haven't had that experience AJBird but from what I gather the next step would be getting a blood test to see if you are ovulating. I think gps can order those?

AJBird - it took me a year after coming off the pill for my cycles to start properly again (or at least as properly as mine ever do). Are you now getting regular (ish) cycles at all?

Nope they are haywire. Sometimes 40 days between cycles, sometimes 26 days, sometimes 50. I was so regular before the pill 29 days every time! I have booked a gp appointment on Friday anyway.

Sounds like you're not ovulating currently then. If you're charting your temp you're probably seeing it jump around all over the place too. One thing to get from the gp though - they'll give you a 'day 21' blood test which checks for ovulation. It's meant to be done 1 week after ov, hence normally on day 21 of a 28 day cycle. If your cycles aren't going that, you'll want to get several forms so you can check every week from day 21 onwards until you get AF, so you know if you're simply not oving in a cycle, or if you're ovulating, but just a bit late (might ov after day 21!)

Congrats Mumma! If it's not squinty I'd say you ov'd cd 22. I've got clear but faint bfps 9dpo before, could have implanted 6dpo. What happened if you enter a slightly higher temp on cd24, I'd guess ff would give dashed crosshairs on cd 22?

AJBird that link takes me to my chart. Are you using the app? Or online?

Thanks Seaview! I did that and it did change my O date to cd 22 which makes better sense! Going to try to wait a couple of days and test again for a hopefully stronger line, eek X

Hi ladies. Hope you don't mind if I join you in here. DH and I are TTC baby #2 at the moment - we just started trying last month. We had a bit of a bumpy road to conceive our DS (now 9.5 months old), with 2 MCs (one at 10 weeks, one at 6 weeks) and then 12 months of trying before we finally conceived. So I'm super-anxious about getting on the TTC rollercoaster again. I started charting after visiting a naturopath and acupuncturist when we were struggling to get pregnant first time around and I started again back in April, when we first started talking about TTC #2. My temps were all over the show for the first two months, but seem to be a lot better now, since I started taking all the same supplements I started taking from the naturopath a couple of years ago (pre-natal vitamin, DIM, vitex, B vitamins, fish oil, EPO). It looks like I OV'd on CD16 (today is CD18) so fingers crossed the effort we put in this month pays off!

Does anyone else get quite a slow temp rise? Mine has crept up by 0.1 of a degree for the past 3 days since ov. Wondering why and if it's something to be concerned about. Pretty sure when I was charting before DS I used to get a sharp rise the day after ov

I haven't temped since January as I knew when I was generally ovulated so didn't see the point but I generally had a decent rise in temp after O so sorry I'm not much help!

Okay update from me: After a myriad of tests my doctor has found in have a mild case of PCOS. I have been put onto Metformin to help me ovulate as a start. Unfortunately 8 months of TTC isn't quite enough for specialist care sof I have to go back in 3 months of nothing has happened and keep tracking cycles. I use the app for my chart, I don't know who to link it in but it looks far more promising this cycle then my others

I'm still here floating about. Life is busy at the moment so I'm glad to have something else to think about. I'm starting to wonder what to do about having our 2nd. With having Only one tube left the not knowing of its damaged is no fun but having a chemical last month gives me a little hope that it could be ok

TTC #2 since July 2014. Have had 3 ectopics May 15, Oct 15 and Aug 16. IVF is the only option now as no tubes left DD1 born Jan 14

AJBird yes that worked! I'm glad you have some answers and with a little luck you might not need that specialist! Have my fingers crossed for you!
Kumeroa it's good to keep busy! Would they look at doing a HSG to check on the remaining tube?
