I saw this when I turned the net on, 38 year old man, I so hope he rots in hell.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Yep me too! I hope like anything she didn't meet him on the net, and he pretended to to be younger than he was...just seems funny that she suddenly left her house.

its horrible to think something like this happened so close to home. Great that they got him though, wonder what the story is. If it was a random meeting type thing then thats really scary, if its someone she knew then thats really sad.

I read before that he is known to the family. Nick (Marie's Mums cousin) said that he knew of the man but not personally.

He also said the man is not family and is not a family members boyfriend or anything like that.

It is all rather odd isnt it. Poor Marie its just so sad.

Hmm have to say that I was shocked with the families behaviour outside the court. I understand that they are angry and upset. The mother especially shocked me.

She was screaming at the cameras and shouting that it was bullsh*t that he had got name suppression. I found her behaviour quite strange actually.

yea i have to agree, while i would be more than devastated if anything like this happened to one of my girls, i certainly wouldnt use the language she used infront of the media, it made her seem ummmm, i cant think of the word right now, but you know what i mean

I want to know who he is. Apparently he lives in thier neighbourhood and they knew of him threw mutual friends. Someone said he had a family as in young kids and everything! Imagine finding out its your father or husband that did something like that.

i wouldn't be surprised at myself if i acted like that in her situation. i don't think we really know how we'd act at times like those. what she must be going through! urgh....i wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy
