Hey Tiff8ny,
I just went through the same thing. My HcG was 15 and I had to have another blood test which was 3 then another one which came down to zero.
I found it a very traumatic experience.
I didn't get my AF until after the last blood test, so about 8 days after 1st test. My AF was (and is, I am still going through it) very very heavy, painful and clotty.
We have now decided to take abreak, have some counselling and persue natural therapies for six months before trying ART again.
If you need to talk about it you can PM me anytime.

Thanks so much sharpie.I'm sorry for your loss too.it is so hard isn't it. After nearly 4 years of trying I really thought our first ivf cycle would give us a BFP.sadly wasn't meant to be.we have no frosties so now it's another wait till we can have our 2nd public funded cycle.I so hope that one works cause we really can't afford to go private. So far my AF has been a bit clotty but hasn't been too heavy yet as I'm still on the pessaries, but I expect it will get heavier. I hope my levels are back at 0 tomorrow so we can arrange an appointment with our FS to have our review appointment and hopefully get on the waiting list asap! Meanwhile I think we will try naturally and pray for a miracle.

Good luck for trying naturally, I wish you all the best and really hope it works this time for you. Thanks so much for sharing your experience with me xoxo

Yea think I might.the nurse told me to keep using them till blood test but it's kinda gross using them when you have AF.seems like torture when you know what the end result is already

Hi Tiff

When I got my chemical pregnancy think my levesl were 15 or so and then second blood test they had come down quite a bit.

With the pesessaries - is it cronine you are taking - one applicator one??? I know when I got AF that i couldnt use both at the same time - if you know what I mean.

I also think my AF was a bit clotty as well - I was doing a natural FET so wasnt taking any progest support.

Hi Tiff8ny - my prog support was cronine which is like tampon applicator and the goo is meant to stay there!!

I reckon you can stop now.

Wow Tiff, that's hard love. Still, it has increased so something must be going on! You might just be a late implanter?

Hi Tiff8ny

When I had chemical last FET my BT my level was low and I had to have 3 BT all up to monitor the levels. I really hoep for you that this is just late implant. I then got my period about 3 days after the initial BT. It seemed a bit heavier and clottier (sorry tmi). Fingers crossed and will wait in eager anticipation until tomorrrow.

Hi ladies,
So sorry to hear of your negative results and also the chemical pregnancies.. I had a chemical pregnancy as a result of my first round of IVF. Level was 26, went up to 34 and then crashed! I was also told to continue utrogestan until levels got to zero. The nurse did say at the time the more you bleed the better it is as a way to prepare your body for the following round, and it is also how all the drugs/chemicals etc leave your body.... I remember feeling alot better once the hormones became a little more balanced.... I just want to say please keep your heads up and stay positive! I was absoloutely devastated when I had a chemical pregnancy, and following that I had two embryos on ice that failed to thaw.... Awful times!! However the staff at the clinic new me a lot better for my second cycle - and my son from that is nearly one!!! Keep positive :)
