Wow Arohanui, that is a big difference. They might let you have one of the early date scans to pinpoint your due date. That'd be cool to be able to see the baby early.

Yeah it would be cool to see bubs early.
Does it sound silly that I'm still doubting I'm pregnant?

I don't know whether to tell mum on mothers day or not. We live in separate towns and I'd have to tell her over the phone. I think we'd rather do it in person so we might have to wait another week or two until we can travel down. Oh I don't know there's so much to think about at the moment. And I just want to shout it out to everybody, thank goodness for this site and you all to share it with. Mind you firstly, I need doctors confirmation.

Yeah, I have one at 5pm and I'm feeling the same way as you. I had a really sore pain in my right side last night which has scared me a bit. But my cat had decided to sleep on me so maybe I was just lying in an awkward position
Good luck at the doctors, I'm sure he'll confirm what you already know

Yay congrats arohanui and wrxchic (and again to Amber!)
So happy you girls are here.
I don't know if this will make you feel better or not but I still keep expecting someone to tell me I'm completely imagining it. Even though my bloods confirmed it I still have to fight with myself sometimes not to take another preg test.
I guess it won't really become more real until we get our scans.
oh editing to say wrxchic even though I'm glad you've got a preg ticker instead of a ov ticker I miss your cute rabbit

**lurker in**
I just wanted to pop in and say that I never believed I was pregnant until the 12 week scan! I even had a dating scan at 6 weeks, and still didnt believe it! I had the worst morning sickness, tiredness, sore boobies and all and it still took ages to sink in!
Believe it girls, you are pregnant, even as hard as it is to believe!
Congrats to all on your BFPs and a happy and healthy next 9 months !!!

Hey ladies, a lots been happening in the last couple of days!
Since I have no AF, I had no idea when to test, but seeing as I'm going to the specialists tomorrow to get provera and clomid (although will now just be getting blood results and a blood test to confirm! YAY!) I thought I should test as I wouldn't want to take those drugs if bubs was already there. To my surprise, a BFP came up so quickly and so clearly! YAY!
I should be due around mid-end Jan I think? Who knows actually!

Yay Emz that's great news! I'm so so glad you've made it in here this month. I remember you saying you had to go on Clomid so it's nice that nature has sorted that for you
Oh boy I've been overdoing it lately. Had to work until 8pm last night (and started early) and now I'm struggling today. I'm so so tired.
I have a baby shower to throw in 2 days and I'm just feeling so overwhelmed by it. So much to organise - urk! Doesn't help that work wants me to come in on Sat (I've said no)

Ok so i've finally got the courage to post here, this makes it official i am pregnant, but only DH & i know at this stage. According to the doctor i have only just made in to this thread.
I am waiting to hear back from a midwife, none of the appear to want to work on new years day. i am consoling myself that babys rarely ever come on their due date.
So many coments up here are familiar to me, keep forgetting that i am pregnant then, i remember again!

Wow, so many pregnant women!! Congratulations to everyone that is expecting. Reminds me of the June mums as there are heaps and heaps of them too!
Hope you all have a happy and healthy nine months, I'm just about to finish my time being pregnant (for the first time) and I'll remember it for the rest of my life.
It's such an amazing and special time, so treasure the time you have to bond with them inside you.

Thanks eomachine!
OMG when are you supposed to start organising midwives etc? I guess the docs can tell you that. DH had a big grin on his face when I told him - so cute!
I'm so tired though due to stress and other things, but now some of the weird feelings I've been having make sense to me.
I think I'm due around 17 Jan. Estimated ovulation date was 26 April, but since I don't have a cycle I just counted back 2 weeks from there to put into the EDD calculators.

Hey ems
I remeber you from NZWP, i was newb got married in November last year.
My doctor got me onto a mid wife and gave me a bounty pack. My advice don't read too far forward, i am now less that impressed about the childbirth thing, contemplating adoption as a strong alternitive. In all the wanting to get pregnant i never really though about the pushing it out bit. (actually, pushing it out i think i can handle, it was the section on cutting that got me).
Congrats on your pregnancy
