Ohkso I want to wash nappies the natural way as in no chemical's, but I can't remember what to use I think it is backing sda and white vinger but what are the quanties etc please can someone help.
i think you will still have to use some detergent - or else you could try code wash balls (from greenbeans). the vinegar neutralises the detergent and i think it is about a half cup or so in the fabric dispenser. i used to just sprinkle some baking soda in the machine, maybe a tablespoon or so worth. (most nappy manufacturers recommend using half the amount of detergent.)
i dont use chemicals - other than washing powder - no nappisan for me, and sometimes i will put a few drops of ti-tree oil in the fabric dispenser. occasionally i use canestan or detoll too but normally only if the kids have been unwell.
Ta thank's for that I know i will prob need to use some soap powder but I don't want to have tosoak htem in anything nasty. Plus it is heap's cheaper then Napisan.
