I had the pains and afterpains as well and there was a difference between the two. I remember in particular the first time I thought I needed to go and had about 4 visits to the loo that night - I was still in hospital and so I was paranoid about:
a) Rowan waking up and me being stuck in there
b) the person in the other room wanting to use the shared toilet

It took ages and the cramping made me break into a sweat just like Serenity said. And like KA said I still have days where things are just 'not right'
I really think it stuffs up the bowel a lot - granted some of it was because of the Voltaren but there's definitely some other issues there.

I'd say probably don't go with Kiwi Crush to get things moving if you're Bfding as it will be horribly acidic for bubs.

Oh and lol at the 'too posh to push thread' - haha if it's good enough for Britney....

They hardly ever happen anymore KA - So I think they will go completely soon. I just notice every now and then that it's still not quite like it was.

Oh yuk i still remember that first poo and it's been 4 years!!

Eat a kiwifruit, pineapple or pawpaw before each meal to regulate things, too much of one fruit will give you dioreah (sp) but eating ANY of these 3 fruits before a meal corrects the enzymes in your tummy.
