Hey all,

Just wanting ot get a few more opinions from people who've had Ceasers before...

I'm not sure if it's normal or not, but my scar seems really weird. It's fine at the sides, soft and comfortable, but in the middle it's tight, hard and kinda puckered. The hardness could be scar tissue, not sure (I'd imagine so) but it's the fact that my scar kinda goes 'in' (IYGWIM) and is really hard.

I thought the best way to show you what I mean was o post pictures... Sorry if they're too much - I was as conservative as possible:

I don't know if you can see what I mean, but as I said - They're the best I could do by myself.

I'm just kinda concerned that if it is too tight, it'll cause problems with subsequent pregnancies or mean ihave to go under the knife to fix it up... I'm probably just worrying for nothing, but let me know whether you think it's worthwhile getting checked out.

I have that occuring in two places on mine, one around the middle of the cut and one at the very end.

I just assumed it was normal?

I have that at one end of my scar, when the scar was still fresh I could see where they had cut and then had to cut again, not sure why perhaps they had to make it bigger to get him out. When I run my finger along the scar I can't feel anything until I get there and then I hit a bump (best way to explain it). The skin around there was tighter but is now normal.
I think I read somewhere about massaging to help break up scar tissue so that could help.
I don't think it would hurt to check it out with your gp though, mention it when you take bubs in for the 3 month check up.

Hmm, maybe it is? Gosh I don't know lol.

I'm wondering whether I should just get it checked anyway for peace of mind... I'm a bit more comfortable now knowing that I'm not the only one that has this, lol.

Just seems so strange to me, but then again, what would I know? Haha.

Just paranoid I suppose

Mine puckers in a bit in places but not as much as that. I can also feel harder scar tissue near the ends. I'd say it's probably normal though but yeah mention it when you're next at the docs.

well it isnt straight....my goodness looks like someone had a hiccup in middle of cutting you....sorry but thats what it made me think...

the redness is normal...my appendectomy scar was like that for ages...where it didnt close tight. My c section isnt like that as it seemed to have been cut a lot nicer and sealed up tighter. I will try to get a photo....so long as some pub hair doesnt offend cause mine is a little lower than yours...
