I think its one of those situations that you dont know how you'll be until it happens to you (or preferably not)
Losing a child ,i imagine, would be the worst pain in the world, and when someone else takes them from you.....yeah i imagine you would feel blind rage ,amongst other emotions, but everyone handles their grief differently.

Personally ,i think it must be even more devastating for parents in NZ who's children are killed,(not that them being murdered wouldnt be awful enough) but the killers get name suppression ,max 18 years in jail.....what a joke.
Everyone heard her name for the last 3 weeks, she didnt get the dignity of remaining anonomous....why should he?

And worst part is, yay they got him, at least that bits closed, but after the trial etc what they'll find,(and i speak from personal experience) you soon realise that, it wont bring her back .

Yeah, that's so horrible - he must've been trying to put people off the 'scent' and not think of him. Horrible horrible man. I feel for his family though - how horrible for them to have to go through this, as well as the victim - and imagine what Marie's friend must be feeling like!

Apparently his DNA matched when they found Marie and from a car.

They arrested him 4 days before they found her for pocession of drugs etc - so the police knew right from the start who it was I believe.

Its sick isnt it, the poor neice of Dean Cameron - I know which friend it was of Maries - and those girls were so close. The poor wee girl its just not fair.
