I just wanted to say something positive about kids with special needs, chronic illnesses etc.

It has always amazed me how well Natasha has coped through the years of being so unwell with a chronic illness, and what an amazing young lady she has developed into. There have been lots of tears and hard times but she is the most beautiful person now and I do think she is more sympathetic and understanding because of all she has been though.

When your child is sick all you want is to swap places so they can be better, but life doesn't work like that and no matter how much we'd like to wrap them in cotton wool and protect them we can't always do it.

Kids can be so brave and resilient and are an inspiration to us all. I have learnt so much from my very special daughter.
Mum to Natasha Aroha 9/12/1995, Alexandra Makareta Waimarie 22/4/1998 and....Alyssa Frances Hopaea 18/03/2007

that is such a nice thing to read ! My brother is physically disabled and some times when I think my life is hard I look at his and it makes me pull my head in and realise how lucky I am so for that (and him) I am grateful....

I always believe there is someone worse off than us.
My boys is struggling with his asthma again, yet whilest having being dosed on Ventalin he still smiles!
