Does anyone have a child that has hearing loss?  My 2 1/2 year old was tested a few months back as he had delayed language and also a history of ear infections as a bub.  They concluded from the tests that he has no glue ear but they think he has at least mild hearing loss, he will be tested again next month to hopefully give us a better idea of to what degree.  Would love to hear from anyone else who has/is experienced this

Mum to Mr 10, Mr 6 and Mr 4

No experience in it with my own children, but I have been partially deaf since early childhood. I've lost basically all my hearing in my left ear, and the upshot is because I don't know any different it really doesn't affect me at all. The only times I even notice it are if I am on the phone and someone else tries to talk to me or when I'm driving and the passenger is talking quietly.

So I can't help you with your anxiety for now but can say that if Drew does have some hearing loss, chances are it really won't affect him too badly at all.
