Does anyone know if you can do this?  #1 was drug free at Birthcare, #2 was elective c-section.

I really want to know this too!

I had an EMC in Brisbane and wanted to birth at birthcare. I rang and asked if it would be possible after emc, was told should be as long as nothing serious led to emc, my son just turned posterior and got stuck so no blood loss etc...

I waited two weeks, took time off work this arvo, did the tour, filled out the form, handed it in to receptionist who went ooh you won't be able to birth here because of your emc.

I asked why this is when I was told on the phone it wouldn'tb e a problem. She said well ultimately up to lead midwife but would have to wait to hear from her!

Frustrated to say the least.

Oohh good luck.  Hoping you get the chance to birth there (let me know when you hear!).

My elective was cos I tore so badly with #1 (massive swollen head and hand on face), and was told at my 6 week check up that further vaginal births could cause worse complications. So I was scared of that, and had gotten used to the idea that it would be an elective.

Now 5 years down the track, I'd like to give a regular birth another crack. Not pregnant with #3 yet but I like to know my options.
