Has anyone used a Tummy Tub? If you're not sure what I'm talking about, follow this link:

http://www.naturebaby.co.nz/organic_baby_products/natural_baby_bath_products/baby_tummy_tub.html

Apparently they're recommended by midwives and great for babies and yada yada yada. I can understand that bit.

What I don't get is how you actually wash the baby when it's in there! From what I could see, it'd be all curled up with only its head sticking out, so how do you get into all the nooks and crannies that need washing?

to be honest I think its a waste of money and a baby bath will be fine and alot cheaper.

I'm quite curious too - I wanted to get one but hubby thinks they are a waste of time so it will be good to hear from someone who has used them

I used one a couple of times with Quinn when he was a wee babe. Never quite got the hang of it... He would sit in there happily but always slid down, so instead of sitting squished in there he'd kinda be lying across the bottom? Never bothered with it after the first few tries...

I got it from mum to trial (she's a midwife so always gets me to try things and tell her what I think) so didn't have to pay for it. But would prob suggest a normal baby bath instead.

I would go for a normal baby bath too! It just seems like a lot of money for a bucket....LOL. And i also dont see how you could actually wash them in it? And they are so floppy at new born age wouldnt it be hard to keep a hold them in that position?
