My daughter has just turned 7 months old. She doesnít have much interest in solids yet as she is always keeping her mouth closed while Iím trying to feed her. I have been trying to get her on the bottle to help fill her up for longer because she has a lot of broken sleeps between the day and night and I think that may be the reason why? I also think she has some sort of dairy allergy because every time she has something that contains cows milk she gets red around her mouth. She does drink water from a bottle but doesnít seem to like the taste of formula. Does anyone have any recommendations for a baby formula that doesnít contain dairy? Any advice is appreciated!! Thank you

most lactation experts suggest waiting until your baby is at least a month old and breastfeeding is well established before introducing a bottle. if you're returning to work start bottle feeding at least two weeks before your start date
so you both have time to adjust. Sucking milk from a bottle requires different mouth and tongue movements than breastfeeding, so it may take your baby a little time to get used to the change.
