Hi there, I am looking for some positive pregnancy success stories to ease my mind...
My story - we have been TTC for almost 2 yrs now. I had a m/c in Oct last year and have had no joy since then..until this month.. My period was due yesterday (26/12/12).
I did a test (1st resp early detection) on Xmas day, I thought it was negative until I looked at it again later on in the day, and noticed a very minutely faint line when held on some angles.
I did another test on boxing day(same brand) and had a more defined line but still faint.
Today (first morn urine) I tested expecting to see a darker line and freaked out when the line had faded a bit when compared to ydays test.. I went and had an HCG blood test done today which has come back at level 6.
I normally have a 28 day cycle which would make me 4 wks and 1 day pregnant. I am worried abt the positive lines on preg test going fainter and that my HCG is very low. I would love to hear some successfull pregnancy stories from those who have been through a similar situation???
I now need to wait 2 days before having a further blood test but the wait is killing me! Thanks in advance!

Biiiig hugs. I know how hard it is to try and try with only heartache to show for it. You'll have been hurting before getting your hopes up.

As to your question, it's possible. I can only say what you already know - that's a very low result, and with your tests getting darker then fading, it's possible you've had a chemical pregnancy (a baby that didn't manage to implant properly, so your hcg rose then fell). On the other hand, it's never over till the fat lady sings. Just get through the next two days as best you can, and get as much support from anyone close to you who knows as you can.

Once again, big hugs. I bet you really need them.
