Hey ladies :-) Yay for finding our due date group and the obvious congratulations that comes with it. How are you all going? I have my MW all sorted - yay! I'm impatiently waiting to get my first blood test done on Thursday - I hope to see really great hcg levels. I've booked a dating/viability scan for 28th May which seems like forever away. No real noticeable symptoms here besides tender boobs. I'm always tired anyway so I hope that doesn't get any worse like it did with my first boy. I was having to find spots to sleep at lunch time at work with him. Well here goes! Early days yet in my first pregnancy. 20th Jan by my (admittedly fairly amateur) calculations. Only had the good news on Tuesday and still reeling a little but beginning to make my way through the long list of to-dos, which at this stage mostly consists of Googling. Feeling pretty clueless so glad to have forums like these for advice - I can already see I'm going to need a great deal! |

HI all, Yay our wee group is taking off. There doesn't seem to be as many people as I thought yet either. I guess there is still a bit of time for some late Jan babies. I'm due between Jan 9th-11th according to a few websites. I had a wee bit of bloody discharge yesterday after dtd the night before (tmi sorry) so I am in for an early viability scan today and an anti-d injection since I am a negative blood type just in case. I am sure it was just from knocking my cervix though. So I will have a more accurate due date by this afternoon! I am so happy with how my mw handled everything when I txt her yesterday. The one I had for my son was a shocker! Had my bloods done this morning so hopefully everything comes back good with that too. How are you all feeling? | Feeling absolutely fine (other than a mild cold - good chance to take a little time off work and let the news sink in). Waiting with baited breath for any symptoms! Currently researching midwives (so clueless about this process lol). |

Good luck with your scan. Let us know how it goes. I've had brown spotting everyday for about a week (usually just when running and #2) but it just seems like a normal amount for pregnancy. Do you think I'll need anti-D for spotting? My Dr said last pregnancy that I wouldn't need it this early but I'm sure they all have different advice. I haven't gone to the dr or midwife for this pregnancy yet since I don't want bloods done; I was going to wait until 5 weeks and then request a dating scan for a couple of weeks later. Hey Jan17 mums! We had our GP visit on Monday and confirmed due date of Jan 5th. Trying hard to find a midwife, a lot are away on holiday at that time! How are you all getting on finding one? Any recommendations? [:)] |

Yay congrats ladies!!! My scan went well - gestational sack measuring 5w (I had calculated 5w1d) and the yolk sack was clearly visible. There was no sign of an internal bleed and everything is in the right place so I will go back on the 4th June for another dating scan. My uterus is retroverted which made it a bit trickier. It must have just been a knock to the cervix while dtd like we thought. What a drama yesterday afternoon was. I lied to work to leave at lunch. Then headed to the hospital blood bank after getting lost to collect the anti-d, then to another place for the scan, then to a brand new gp to enrol - thankfully she was able to give my partner a blood test form to go get his blood type checked, he went this morning - if he's negative it means no more anti d for me! Then for the jab in my butt and the waiting around afterwards. I was so relieved to get home last night as I was kinda worried yesterday morning and hate rushing around! I also feel a lot happier knowing so far everything is as fine as it could be. The GP had my blood results already. HCG was 2250 - is that ok? I was told my white blood cell count is 44 and it should be 50+ at this stage so I need to try increase that somehow? Otherwise everything is good. Pugglesworth I'd definitely tell/ask your LMC about it as you'd hate to build up antibodies. Just found out we are having baby number 7, can't believe it. Very unexpected but happy. Not telling anyone for a while. My new bub is due 14th of January 2017. Can't believe how fast symptoms have started, feeling ill, tired and very sore boobs lol, this is our honeymoon baby. Is there anyone else older than 35? I'm a wee bit worried about what's termed 'old' ha-ha I'm 38. We have 5 boys and 1 girl, fingers crossed for another wee girl  |

Hi all, JUst found out i'm due with number 2 on 14 January 2017 - although I'm hoping for a dating scan as my cycle was all out of whack, from 30-33 days so who knows, that's why I left it so long to take the test - didn't want to be disappointed. I also had a miscarriage, in January this year. Hi all, I hope to be confirming with a BFP later this week but I'm feeling quite pregnant. Nausea first thing and oh so exhausted despite getting a good night's sleep! We've been TTC for nearly 2 years and are planning to do IVF in August so I really hope I'm pregnant! I've had 3 chemical pregs (very early mcs) over our TTC time so I'm trying hard to not get excited. Also trying to wait until I'm actually late before testing. Hi Ladies, I got my very faint BFP this morning at 13DPO. Due for AF tomorrow and I will go to the doctors tomorrow afternoon for a blood red to confirm. So excited to finally be able to join a due date group! I have been having loads of symptoms, so knew I was pregnant and kept getting frustrated with my BFNs, since I have been testing since 10DPO. I am praying for a sticky baby! I knew I had to test after enduring a ridiculously long hormonal headache all night and refusing to take pain relief incase I was pregnant! Haha. Congratulations to everyone else on their BFPs. ------------- |

Hello, First time pregnant and due January 14. We are still coming to terms with the news, but are slowly getting excited about the journey to come. So far my GP has been very vague and after a date scan and blood tests have not heard a peep about next steps.... Thinking private is the best way to go at this stage, as we know little to nothing about the whole process to come (or a lot of the abbreviations used throughout this message board). Including the very people I didn't want to see. My parents don't know yet and I didn't want anyone else seeing it so the only way was to deactivate. yay zooeysmumma :) whens your dating scan? Mine was meant to be next tuesday, but had my emergency one yest. Im going to keep my appointment for next week tho- I'd sign up for as many as I can haha. Ive had a loss at 6w and one at 12, so i wont feel safe for awhile.... I miss how i totally unworried i was with my daughter- i had no idea what a miracle it all was!! |

Hello Everyone Congrats everyone on the exciting news. I am due 17th January, had my dating scan about 2 weeks ago now and have done absolutely nothing since, this was all very unplanned and quite the surprise but we are starting to get excited now, this is my first baby so feeling a little unsure about what I need to get done, guess the next step is to find a mid wife. I'm also considered on the older side 36 but so far all seems to be going well 8 weeks yesterday and definitely feeling the effects, sore boobs, super tired, nauseous, and crazy emotional, crying at the drop of a hat. Hope everyone else is feeling well and having fun making plans.

Hi Fellow-Preggos :) I'm due 06/01/17 with my first. Finally managed to find the right forum! Everything going well so far. Even though i've had the scan I still don't quite believe it. Eagerly waiting for the physical transformation to start. Have told close friends and family but now that the magical 12 week mark is so near (tomorrow) will be making the news public to extended family and work colleagues. The whole process is very overwhelming and my GP was pretty slack to be honest. Anybody else have absolutely no idea what they were/are doing? lol. |

I'm due 8/1/16 - my hubby and I were trying for a December baby but didn't quite get there! This is our first child, I'm 25 and he's 32, just had our 12 week scan and all is good! Feeling a little late to the party! Nicky060117 I totally feel you - GP was useless and I'm so overwhelmed by it all that I spend my Saturday nights comparing cloth nappy brands online... such a rockstar :P |

Rosie210641 - you never know, there's definitely a chance you could still have a December baby! Due dates seem a bit of an educated guess. I'm pretty stoked with a January date. I should be able to see out the year at work, fingers crossed! My partner and I went to Baby Factory on Saturday. So much to think about! Spent an hour just browsing! I think all these companies just provide so many options to confuse expectant mothers who are already tired, hungry and operating on baby brain which turns out, is an actual thing! Cloth nappies - what a trooper. I don't know if i will have the patience for those. Do you know if those reusable ones are any good? My sister found them difficult to use. |

Nicky06011 - yeah, maybe! I probably won't be able to work much in December anyway and the hubby could spend a bit more time with us :) Oh gosh, you're brave, I haven't been in there yet! I used to nanny for a few cloth nappy families and found them fine, but who knows how long it'll last when they're attached to our own baby! |

Hello Everybody, what an exciting time for everyone! My husband and I are finally pregnant after trying to conceive for the past three years. We had done a few round of fertility treatments and now we have been blessed with a baby that was conceived naturally much to our surprise! I have been really sick the past couple of months and it doesn't appear to be slowing down but I guess that means that our baby is nice and strong. We had our twelve week scan and our baby was sooooooo active and it was great to see it moving around and to see its heart beat, brain, stomach and bladder, the lady doing the scan was great. We were in there for 40 minutes just watching the baby so that was so cool....I would love to join the facebook page if possible.....How is everyone else doing? Anybody had an weird cravings yet?
