Ok I wanted to celebrate with a little 'yay me' time

Today I got up and got dressed when I first woke up at 7:30 rather than struggling to get out of bed before 10. I did washing, hung it up, took Rowan to the doctor, did the shopping, made dinner and was still up and awake when DH came home.

As well as all that I played with my girl and did general mummy things.

May not seem like much at all but this is the first time in a very long time I've been able to function like that. Usually I am in bed for a lot of the day and if I get dinner and the washing on I'm winning.

So 'Yay me' - I thought it would be nice to share a positive thing

ETA: And yay for the AD's

Yay that's awesome Bobbie!
I remember after I had Ella how hard it was to get us both up, washed and dressed most days, let alone out of the house.
I think about 7 months was the turning point for me too, I started to see the sunshine through the clouds again and felt like I started to have a bit of control and order back in my life.
I still had bad days but the big difference was that I had hope that tomorrow would be better, which I hadn't been able to see before then.
I hope that things just keep getting better for you chicky and don't forget to reward yourself for the progress xx

That is so good Bobbie well done. Little things are the best things.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
