6 weeks for me - I had a d and c Jan 2, first AF Jan 31, conceived around mid Feb and got a BFP Feb 28. Prior to that it had taken more than a year to conceive.

I was lucky in that I concieved straight away (does your head in a little bit though) but I figure I had to wait 8mth for the first one so it was the least my body could do for me.
I decided to start Ov testing and just lucked out that I guessed the right time to start testing - 4 weeks after the MC.
I've got a stack of ov tests at home that I've been holding onto until I got an all clear at my 12 week scan, if all goes well this afternoon would you like them? (free to a good and happy home, cos I hope I don't see myself TTC again before october 2010)

We waited one cycle and then got pregnant on the next cycle. My body treated the m/c like a period and I ov the same time I normally would have. (I get ov pains) and my next period turned up on day 26 just like normal.
My doc told me that it can take up to 6 weeks to get your period back so that's something for you to keep in mind.
Have my fingers crossed for you that you get a sticky one soon.

I was told to wait for two months, after that I got preggy straight away. I wasn't sure when I ov, and I actually thought I'd missed the window of opportunity but I hadn't - so was very lucky to get a nice surprise. The line on the preggy test was much stronger than with the m/c pregnancy.
Best of luck and lots of positive baby dust vibes sent your way

Twins run in mine (both Mum and Dad's sides) but not DH's....it's quite funny, because my ob was saying the other day that he sees a lot of twin mums who have conceived their twins straight after a m/c - they're investigating it at the moment, but there is no actual evidence yet to support the theory that twins are more likely after m/c....

I m/c last Oct and still haven't conceived...bought some ov sticks last month and thought we would def conceive this cycle, but doesn't appear to have happened
I think stress def doesn't help, we tried for 6 months last year, then booked a trip to the US and thought we'd leave the baby plans until we got back - and conceived that month.
Think may have to see a fertility specialist soon though - can anyone recommend a good one?
