For some reason it is playing in the back of my mind that my just about to turn 11 month old daughter is still having more bottles than what she possibly should.
She is an excellent solids eater for the most part and is at daycare and eats well there too but she is still having 5/6 bottles a day (she was having 5 but she is having a bit of a growth spurt and is starving all the time this week)
Should i be trying to reduce the amount of bottles - i give her one when she first gets up and then she has 2 or 3 more at daycare and a couple when she gets home (so around 5pm and then one right before bed)
I am unsure if i am making any sense at all but if others could give me some guidance or let me know what their kiddos are doing that would be awesome - thanks heaps
Karen
Does she have her first bottle before breakfast or after?
I'm probably no help at all since Jody was BF but at 11mths she was still having 5-6 big BFs a day then suddenly at 12 months she dropped to 2.
Before the drop I did increase her food and only offered milk after a meal and only when she asked for it. The after breakfast one was the first one to go since I filled her up with lots of porridge.
