Since Clodagh's been standing and more recently walking (pushing a trolley), her appetite has gotten HUGE (for her). I feel like I could just keep shovelling food in her gob and she'd take it...although of course there's lots of things she doesn't like (ie fruit) but loves veges and wholegrain bread and porridge, weetbix, cheese, yoghurt, etc etc. So her diet is pretty healthy and balanced.
I guess I'm wondering though do I just keep feeding her 3 meals and 2 snacks(and about 4 BF's) until she turns her head away or am I setting her up to be obese in later life? I want her to stop eating when she's full and use food as fuel to be enjoyed and savoured, not shovelled in for any random reason.
Ok, I know she's not quite 11 months old lol but good habits start young! I also appreciate at this age its about handling food and enjoying it etc but just for general long term, I'd be interested to know what other Mama's do with their hungry wee babes?
