April 2012 babies

Yeah my last day of work today. I came in early just to make sure everything is ok here so I can hopefully relax next week.

Our little baby is due in 2 weeks and 1 day. He loves going nuts when I take the train into and home from work. He gave the person sitting next to me the giggles as my tummy popped and little bumps appear out of nowhere. Very much like a scene from the Alien movies

Thanks for all the updates on here and the Facebook page - great to hear what I could expect. I start hydrotherapy next week to help relax in these last few weeks. I'm starting to get excited now.

Morning everyone, just doing a quick Ticker check....wish this little guy would decide to arrive already i have only had just over a week off work and i am ready now, house is cleaner then it has ever been, baking has to be stopped coz we have too much and i have run out of things to do... badly need to go to the library and get some books to read.

Latest Update!! A few ladies MIA so I imagine that there are a few more babies we don't know about yet from the last few days!

18/4 Just added Knub's bub to the list! I'm going to guess that Talia's mum and readymama have had babies by now and the rest of us are still waiting

19/4 Just adding in Readymama's bub! Not many more to go now! Just noticed that my prediction that most surprises HAD to be girls is looking fairly accurate!

Congrats to all the new mummy's!
Not had much of a chance to come on here since Scarlett was born - esp with a toddler to care for as well!
Looks like most have had their babies as well and they are busy too - have sent a friend request to join the FB group as thought that was where all the action was?
Best go as its feeding time at the zoo again

He is here! Our little boy arrived 5 days early after being in labour for over 40 hours.

Richie Hoani Duncan Barnes was born 23 April. 3.75kgs (8.4lbs).

My waters broke saturday night in bed after coming home from the rugby. Contractions went from 15 mins down to 4 mins apart. Then continued to seesaw for the next 14 hours. I was admitted to Wellington Hospital went on antibiotics and would be induced Monday morning. I had every drug there i'm sure - but my back pain was to much and i had an epidual. I could finally feel when I needed to push. Due to babys positions I had a episiotomy. But he was finally here. After over 40 hours. He is settling in well and breastfeeding is going good. He is everything I wanted and more. I love being his mum!

hi stoaked....I just edited my one as it said it was surprise...but we knew what we were having. Not sure if this was right way to edit and post it but if all wrong could you change it for me. hehe I will need to change my ticker now too!...Weston will be 4 wks tomorrow....wow where did last 3 wks go! I hope everyone is doing well with their bubbas. will post labour/birth story soon. congrats to all the mummies and their babies!

Hi Grifanz. 4lb is a pretty good weight for such an early baby. I hope everything is going ok and you are home. My little man was born on 01/04 too weighing 5lb 7. Feel free to join our FB group.
