Hi ladies I just registered with Oh Baby and found these forums, they're so nice We're due for our first bub 7 Oct, so I've got 1 more week at work then 3 weeks to relax and get things organized. Sooo excited! Hope you're all doing well!

Hi girls, thanks for the lovin! Baby is still cosy inside, so we'll see if anything happens this weekend on due date. Not in a huge rush though, as we've just shifted into our new house so lots of sorting etc to do. Baby's room is ready so that's sweet :) How are you all doing? Such exciting times!!!! Shame this thread died a death.
Just posting to let you know my little boy turned up a week early on 2nd October. All is well. Had forgotten what sleep deprivation was like - all coming back to me now.

Hey GNB and RachB, we're mostly in touch with each other on facebook these days. But, we've been doing that for the best part of a year now, so as you can imagine, quite a bit of personal stuff has made it to that page! What part of NZ are you in? We have a loose policy now that we don't generally add people unless someone's met them in person, so maybe you'd like to come out with some of us for a coffee? Sorry if that sounds a bit uptight! We've just lots of highs and lows in there, but we sure welcome more people, just like to meet them first :-)

GNB and RACH I am a first time mum too, my girl was born 8 Oct so is now 5 months old. Let me know if you're still looking for some peeps in the same boat! :)
I always forget to check on here but I'm on Facebook: Lydia Yeow, my baby girl is my profile picture which makes it easier to find me (although there aren't many of us with that name LOL)
