Hi ladies,

Yesterday I got results of my third embryo transfer. It came back negative. This was second frozen cycle and we had one fresh transfer. I am very sad and am feeling depressed.

We are seeing doctors at fertility plus. What treatment options are available to me now? Are all hopes lost now? What could change that would make a difference?

Has anyone similar experiences? Anyone visiting FPlus and can share how they respond to such situation?

Rose

Hey Rose

Sorry things aren't working out yet. I don't know your story or what you've tried already but There are several things you could ask about - trying a different protocol, an endometrial scratch, DNA fragmentation testing, Colorado protocol, intralipids, pre-genetic screening. You can also look at getting a second opinion from a different specialist.

Hi, have you looked into fertility accupuncture? I have been ttc for 6 years, three failed iui in 2015 (got pregnant from one but it ended at 5 weeks). I am scheduled for my first ivf in Dec and have just started seeing Dr Vitalis in Auckland. He uses electro accupuncture. I'm enjoying it so far & have read some good things, and some positive stories, from my little research it sounds like it is beneficial to commit to accupuncture for a good 4 months with weekly sessions. I'm trying to do 2 sessions a week to increase my chances. (vitalis suggests between 1 and 3 sessions per week). Its a bit of money but after 6yrs it's worth a shot. I don't want to look back in 20yrs feeling that I could have tried harder xx

Hello dear! How are you doing now? Do you consider surrogacy? I want to tell you that I'm really sorry about your failed procedures. I know that this time is very tough for you. I understand that this is hard to turn to another option right now. I just wanted to tell you to look at the situation from the other side. First of all you still have a great chance of having a baby. Second of all there are higher chances to carry a healthy baby because it will be a surrogate mother who will have the pregnancy and give birth. This's still hard because it's not you who will be carrying your baby. At least you will know that chances of carrying a healthy baby are much higher. I wish you to make a decision which will be the best for you. We are all here to support you. If you have a need to talk to someone just let us know.

Hello OP! I'm so sorry about your failures. I know this is hard for you now. This is really hard not to give up at this point. My husband and I were TTC for almost 8 years. I had 3 MCs which were really heartbreaking. This was so hard to decide what to do next. I was so crushed I thought to give up and stop. I'm happy we decided to keep going. Though we are using services of surrogate mother I'm so glad we'll become parents very soon. I wish you all the best, dear! Just don't give up. Maybe you need small vacation without all these pregnancy stuff. Have some time together with your husband, have some rest without pushing yourself to the next step. And then you'll continue your way to parenting with fresh mind. Good luck, dear!

Hi, I fully agree with your point of view. Indeed, the surrogate will be able to endure and give birth to a healthy child. In addition, you can avoid the negative consequences for your health from the use of hormonal therapy. In addition, childbirth will be easier for the surrogate, since the clinic usually selects a healthy and young surrogate. And a genetic mother can take up her own business at this time, work and prepare for future motherhood. Of course, surrogacy requires financial investments. Since the services of a good clinic, as well as a good surrogate, can not be cheap. But, at the moment you can find good options at a more reasonable cost possible in Ukraine. In some clinics, you can choose packages of services that will vary in cost. In addition, some clinics provide accommodation and meals for their patients. And it is very important for a person who came to a foreign country for the first time. You must first visit the clinic for a preliminary consultation, you can not make a decision without having been there. After all, the only way to make a correct opinion about the doctors, the level of service and quality of services provided. For example, for my friends, the choice of clinic is a very important step. They want to visit one of the Ukrainian clinics soon. They are already starting to plan their trip.

What do you think about surrogacy?
It is a safe option if you do put enough time and mind in it. And it can be affordable if you find the right agency
If you by any chance decide to make a step forward and sign for surrogacy, I would advise you to take a closer look at Ukraine. We are with one of the Ukrainian agencies - WCOB. And it is a good one, honestly. hit me up if you need any more info.

Perhaps you should take a short pause? You will be able to recover physically and mentally. You can go on vacation, change the atmosphere, thoughts. Perhaps you should consider surrogacy. But in any case, you better discuss this issue with your doctor. However, this is one of the most effective methods for childless couples. But it is important to remember that surrogacy is allowed only in some countries.

Unfortunately, sometimes attempts may not be successful. You should not despair, try a couple more times. If everything is in vain, try changing the clinic. In case of hopelessness, you can go to the surrogacy clinic. Surrogacy is a real chance to become a mother. However, surrogacy is permitted only in some countries. For example, in America, Ukraine, Russia and several other countries. But the cost of surrogacy in America exceeds the amount of 100 thousand dollars. Today it is more advisable to use the services of Ukrainian clinics.
