I know I am lucky, I don't have PND, but sh*t, somedays are just so damn hard it is unbelieable.
I really shouldn't even be in this forum, I kind of feel I am highjacking space to which there are a lot of ladies who need support from others more than me, but today, sorry girls, I just thought I might write a bit on here where there are others who understand.
My heart is sore today, I can feel it now sitting like a lump in my chest. I just need sleep and time
to myself but that never happens does it. My me time is still always with the kids. Sometimes I get to go to the supermarket by myself.
DH has been away for 4 days and back tonight, but the kids have just pushed me to the limit. They are good kids, but 4 days on my own dealing with teething and a non sleeping baby and a trying to toilet train toddler has finally taken it tole and I am buggered and so sad.

I really hope this doesn't come across as woes me and whinning cos I really am not. I am usually the happy go lucky one without a care in the world, looking after everyone else, but I don't know how much longer I can look after everyone.
DH must hate me at the moment, I take all my anger out on him, and I am always moaning how tired I am and how hard the kids have been. When he gets home tonight I really want to tell hom how crappy I feel at the moment but then, poor him, a moaning wife again, what a great welcome home. So will cover it all up again and tell him all the wonderful things that his beautiful kids have done and put a smile on
Are you still reading, sorry, I will stop now.

Ah hun, go easy on yourself. Is a lot to cope with on your own.
If you don't want to tell DH how you feel then perhaps just ask him for a big hug instead, might make the world of difference to how you are feeling.

Spudling - I hear ya! I think us mums have those days more often than people realise. I'm certainly having them a lot at the moment. Jett has been sick & been under general anaesthetic twice in 3 weeks, & Gia is at the busy 2 yr old stage so she's getting under my feet all day long! Dealing with a sick baby is hard enough, let alone 2 other children & the housework!

Even though your DH has been away for 4 days, I think for yourself you do need to talk to him. Think about YOURSELF now, as you obviously need a decent time out for you. Your DH may have been working(?) but he hasn't had the 2 kids to deal with in that time & gets time to himself, and a full nights sleep!

I go by the say "If mumma ain't happy, then nobody's happy" & it's so true! I see the house & children turn to custard when I'm not functioning properly. I'm sure you telling your DH how you're feeling will be a huge load-off in itself!

Lots of coming your way!!

OMG I could have written that myself! Except the part about TTing.

I can't wait for the big kids to go back to school, I really don't like them much anymore, they are so damn demanding, more so than what Cooper is.

My solution to it was to palm one of them off to the parents for two nights each week in the end.

Maybe see if you can get DH to "owe" you some time this weekend, so you can go and do something for yourself, and he can stay with the kids.

That's what we do now, and it helps alot. We have turns sleeping in, going out on our own..etc.

Oh I hear you too. I'm now 4 weeks into being by myself with the boys and I am hanging out for next weekend when I can have my first time alone with no children to worry about.

Def try and get a few hours of your time when he comes back and more than just a supermarket trip.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
