my friend is doing her doctoral in clinical psychology and I was talking to her this morning about her research project and she is doing it on depression (all types) and how it affects your memory. She asked me to do it as I have had PND. Will be interesting when I do (won't be for a while yet) to see how I do.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Cool yeah that would be interesting. My memory has been shocking, but I didnt associate it as being related to the pnd,..more to sleep deprivation!

I can find out some more details as I think she will need a lot of participants.

Becks, is it just depression or postnatal anxiety things too? I don't see myself as having had PND strictly speaking, just that the anxiety was starting to make me a bit depressed when it was at its worst, IYGWIM? I would be happy to participate if I fit the criteria, and your friend needs more data.

She did say something about anxiety. I will get some more info from her and see if I can post it here (Emma, Katherine is that ok to ask for participants???) so she can get some more people to help her. She is my oldest friends we went to Primary school, and even in primary school she said she was going to be a clinical psych, and she is going to do it.

Get her to email me with the details and I'll have a look at it, shouldn't be a prob but we just have to approve it.
