Jaxs - I know what you mean. My first one wasn't too bad. My second one knocked me around a bit. My third one (last month) knocked me for a six and I was a complete mess for at least a week, to the extent DF got really worried about me. Even now, a month later, I still think about it and cry sometimes. The grieving process doesn't really make sense sometimes.

I hope all goes well for you.

I'm so sorry to hear what you have been through.
I had 2 chemical pregnancies and then on 24th June this year I also had a D&C for a blighted ovum. I 'would have been' just over 9 weeks. So after 3 scans showed a sac and no baby I opted for a D&C because things obviously weren't happening on their own. Unfortunately I had to organise it myself because the medical professionals at the time were very slack in their communications with each other.....a once off I hope because I don't want other ladies going through that.

Anyway......it was then, only on the 19th Aug, that I went for another scan because I was 5w5d pregnant!

So please take care of yourself, and do know there is light at the end of the tunnel.

The ladies on here are a tower of strength!

A site I also found helpful was:

misdiagnosed miscarriage

I'm not too sure why, but I couldn't get into the site just now. I haven't been in for awhile. So hopefully its still active because there are loads of positive stories on there.

Big hugs for you, and thinking of you :)

Hi there

I know a little of how you feel but had a good outcome. I don't want to give you false hope or anything but thought you may want to hear my story.

My 7 year old son was a diagnosed missed miscarriage. I have the scan and report saying so. I was 6 weeks when I started to spot. I went to the doctor and the scan showed a sack but no heartbeat and since my dates were spot on they decided that the fetus had stopped developing at 4 weeks. I was devastated. I went in for hcg bloods which was low. Can't remember the exact amount just the words that it wasn't looking good. Then 3 days later I went for another hcg and boom they had skyrocketed.

Although it worked out for me the chances are slim. I had 5 days of how you are feeling right now and my heart goes out to you. I will quietly keep my fingers crossed for you and if it isn't meant to be then a big hug also.

Vanillabean if you are in here this goes for you too. Big hugs and also fingers crossed.
