Hi there,

I'm a Nelson Mum. Keen for something to do with the kids (and mainly someone adult to talk to) during the day.

My son James is almost 4 and my daughter Michaela is 3months... so I guess maybe not the right age for 'interacting' with your boy... but if you're keen maybe we could chat here a bit and then go for coffee... it all seems a little weird online to me (new at this) but I am rather bored at home as most of my friends have to work all day as well as be mums when they get home! I admire them!

Will check online to see if you reply.
Melanie

hi melanie, we're always happy to meet new mums i've already met up with afew ladies from here and they were all very emotionally sound women, not an insane one among them lol.
nah but seriously, i know what you mean about the whole online thing feeling a bit weird but the ladies on here are really lovely and it's strange but even though i've never met pretty much all of them i feel i know alot of them really well just from talking to them in the time i've been on here.

i'll keep trying to get more people together for a meet up, maybe we could take the kids to chipmunks or something, then we don't really have to run after them too much and we can all sit down and have a good natter.

Hi,

Where are the cute little picture thingies you all have, with the kids age chart sort of thing ... I'm guessing from www.lillypie.com?

Ta
Coffee sounds great at chipmonks, James practically disapears there, it's relaxing lol

I'm coming over on sat morningto see my Gran, who is slipping away slowly. She is at green gables rest home. Then I'm going to founders park with the kids, and maybe their seciond cousins, plus mum and maybe my bro and his 2, so there will be a few of us. We are going to have a picnic lunch, so feel free to meet us if you want to? Otherwise, I imagine I will be over every week or so until she goes as much as pre wedding time allows.

Annie xx

Hi there,

Most days work for me. Apart from running James to creche and kindy I am pretty much free to catch up over coffee.

Sorry to miss the beach cafe today! WOuld've been nice today in the sun, but I was called into my soon to be hubby's work. I fill in reception when his is away or sick. It's actually quite nice receptioning now and then! Plus I get to see him all day lol, we run a youth theatre here in Nelson so he's off early and back 11pm ish... be lonely if I didn't have kids lol

Catch up with y'all soon!
Melanie

I got my bridesmaid to get her own (although last nightm after she bought the third dress she has bought around, she asked me to pay half...) You could pick a theme colour and ask them to get their own (in the same colour), or check out stax, max, principals etc, they often have nice dresses for under $150

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACH!!!

I am pretty flexible with times... at
1245 on Mondays I take James to Kindy
10am on Tues&Thursdays I take James to creche
1230 on Tues&Thursdays I take James from creche to kindy

Mon, Tues and Thurs I pick him up at 3
and wednesdays I take him to Gymnastics 1040-1140(ish)

So that's when I'm busy (generally) and those times I am only running him there for 15 minutes so still have a couple of hours inbetween them.

Sorry, I know it looks messy but maybe (as you can text) you can work out a time between us all? Friday is my completely hassle free day if you wanna catch up then. Though I like to go to a coffee group in the mornings some Fridays.

Hope that makes sense to y'all, not just confusing lol
Melanie

See you Friday? Say 12? Or after lunch to save money on food at chipmonks? I know some mums need to be thrifty sometimes. OMG my car just cost me $700 so I understand that at the moment, lol.
