I have been on citalapram the whole pregnancy and the first 7 weeks of breastfeeding a very low dose 1 tablet. Because my anxiety has reared it's ugly head and my dose has increased to 3 tablets per day, my doctor recommended to bottle feed. I was doing both anyway so was ok to stop bf. My dr said that 20 yrs of research has been done on citalapram but the level I have to go to she wasn't happy to take any chances of side effects. I believe the same thing that someone else said happy mum happy kids.
