I bought some Healtheries Zinc Plus yesterday as heard zinc can be good to take when trying to TTC. I was reading the back and saw that it also contains vitamins A and B6. I thought I saw somewhere that vitamin A isn't good to take when TTC, can anyone tell me if that's right?

TIA

Hey Lou :) I think vitamin a found in natural foods us okay but don't think taking a supplement is okay as it increases birth defects, check out this link :)

Thanks for that Tigger, I had a read through that article, seems like as Oxy says, in high levels. On the back of the container it says 344mcg, which going by that artcile seems low... confused much!

Thanks Oxy too

You can get Zinc drops which just go in water, its by Clinicians and from what I know they are perfectly safe during pregnancy. Its also the best way to take zinc as its absorbed alot better than the tablet form, or so the pharmacist told me. Oh also its cheaper and last alot longer.
