Hey there, I have lived in Whangaparaoa for just under one year now. I live with my husband and daughter who is 15 months old. I am finding it quite hard to meet new people, and it would be great to meet mums who have had problems with PND !! I am a lot better now, but still have some bad days !!!
Anyway, I hope someone in Whangaparaoa reads this post and I would love to meet new people - especially those with the same problem as me !!

Hi there. Not in Whangaparoa but know what you mean. I am in Fox Glacier and all the other babies in town are much younger, my daughter is almost 8 months, so our visits to the under 1's group is getting boring. I think we all get the baby blues and some times not just straight after birth. Let me know if you want to keep in touch.

Hi! I'm not in Whangaparaoa, but I'm not far away (Orewa). I have a 21month old boy and have had a bumpy road with my PND and anxiety. These days I'm doing much better, but still have off days. Would love to meet you and your wee girl

Hi there !!! I didn't expect any replies to this - so I'm stoked you wrote back - I would love to meet up at some stage if you are still keen, we could meet at a cafe in Orewa, or at the beach, whatever you prefer, I'm easy !

Monday too soon? Or I could do Thursday after Cale's swimming (around 10am?), or Friday. Just let me know what suits. Orewa House is lovely (it has a garden and toys for the kids - added bonus!)

Hi - i could do monday after 1.30pm, or Thursday after 1.30pm - would that work for you? I work at an early childhood centre in Red Beach till 1.30 most days, so any day is fine just after 1.30. Do you mean "Walnut Cottage"? - I have taken Sophie there before - it was awesome, I had my coffee and cake while she played !!

Yes, that's the one! Really good value too. Ok, could you do around 3pm? Cale sleeps from 12 til about 2.30pm most days.

Any day but Tuesday hun - have playcentre in the morning, then hospital appointment in the afternoon and playcentre course at night

Did you guys manage to meet up? Im not in whangaparaoa but Im on the north shore which is nearby and keen to meet more Mums so if you do meet again Id be keen... girlygirl would be a chance to finally meet up with you!
