Hi ladies, Just checking in with you - any news anyone? I am in the 2ww so no news here, over that flu bug thankfully.
Have a great weekend, nice to see a bit of rain but a sunny weekend would be better!

Leana, hope you're still going well!
March now which means we have our appointment to book IVF this month! Just over two weeks away actually, it's going to fly by. CD21 and I haven't ovulated yet so it looks like clomid hasn't really done its job. Do you think that if AF comes before my appointment with Barbara I could just ring up and ask for a new prescription for 100mg clomid (I did 50mg this cycle)?

Hi epictraveller, Ovulating late is so annoying and that is such a shame clomid did not bring it forward - someone on this tread recommended acupuncture to bring ov forward. You could sure try asking for 100mg. I emailed about a result and Barbara got back to me that day (was a Tuesday). I keep thinking af is coming - maybe I just wish she would hurry up already so I can arrange my scan. Busy week so hope to keep distracted. Really hope cd1 is not anothet Saturday - that seems to be my only pattern! Everyone else good?

CD 1 today and it is a bad one - but one good thing is I phoned about HSG scan, nothing booked yet but phoned again in the afternoon and said I would phone again Wednesday . I am not going to wait another 6weeks. Feel like we are getting no where, even hubby has said we need next step. It will be 3 years later this month.
How are you getting on?
How are others doing?

Phoned radiology again today but it was after 4 so went to answer machine - figured I would just talk to them tomorrow and try and get booked in. Don't know why it is not easy! Also got a letter from OFC with our next appointment which at least is something. It is in May but with Easter in will seem quicker. I will let you know how HSG booking goes How are you all?

Hi All. Have had what is going around as well - felt like a bus had run over me and then reversed back for a second go. I have had a few baby showers recently and I said to my husband that I think it is our time (surely)! Was terrible on Sunday - I was at the Warehouse standing there floundering looking for neutral baby items. I feel like someone should appear out of the shelving and slap me. I can see possibly why we don't have children - I would be broke! There are too many cute things. My friend said when she was having fertility issues she would stand in the baby area of any store and just sob. Hopefully I don't get to this stage! Today is the first day of my cycle and I am going to track for this month followed by Clomid in a couple of months. We have a holiday booked in mid June - I keep thinking to myself wouldn't it be great to be pregnant before then!!! Will have to check the schedule to see if it works with my husbands shifts - so I shouldn't get too excited and pick the outfit the baby would come home in just yet.
I hope everyone is doing well. Hopefully you can get an appointment with radiology soon Icecream.

Hey Annie-Lou nice to hear from you. Phoned again today and think I have an appointment on Wed at 11 but the receptionist seemed un committed. She is going to send me a letter tomorrow or the next day so if I don't get anything by Friday I will phone again. Are you heading away or somewhere local for your holiday? I thought I would temp all month to have to show Barbara in May.

Nervous about my scan on Wednesday. Ultra scan noted possible subseptate uterus however that does not explain not getting any BFP in 3 years. My body worked 14 years ago so I know it can happen just wonder has something changed. Worse case my tubes are blocked but then at least we would have an answer and can then move on. Feel like each month we are just going through the same thing with no hope of anything different as nothing has changed. Rant over Ladies who are not watching the 2ww thread -epic traveller had BFP this morning! Great to see someone graduating! How are you guys?

Hehe thanks icecream!! Pretty stoked over here Good luck for the scan tomorrow! Ah didn't realise you already had a child either, that must make it tough really hope the scan gives you some answers and if it is blocked tubes, that they can get in there and fix it asap!! I'll be watching for your BFP, I'm sure its not far away!

Had my HSG scan today and it was not that bad. Really great nurses and doctor. Good news is everything looks fine, had to roll right for a bit of gravity help but both tubes are clear and no sign of subseptate uterus, apparently it is on the small side but normal. Does not help us know why it is not happening. 3years on the 24th! Taking it easy today Any other news?

Hi. I am pleased you had your HSG Icecream - even if you didn't come away with any answers. So where to from here? Congratulations Epic. Fantastic news. I go in on Tuesday to have a scan and then a chat with the nurses at OFS. Been a tough couple of weeks at work and am hanging for Easter. Will be good to have a few days off. Husband is working but I might head up to Central for a couple of nights - my parents will be up there so might take up the dogs and enjoy the long weekend. And maybe eat a little chocolate! How is everyone else going? Much planned for the two long weekends?

Hi Anne-Lou, Still not back to normal after scan but google notes that is normal. Good job I ovulate later in my cycle. What scan are you having done? Not sure what next, have appointment booked for May but we don't know anything different from last time. Might be classed as unexplained and not get any funding so will have to wait and see. Feel very annoyed and think the whole thing is unfair! Suppose most of us feel that! I am blessed with a daughter (14) however I would like a baby with my husband. I had DD very young and she spent 9 months in hospital so I have never had that pregnancy and new born experience. Anyway - no plans for Easter break other than around Dunedin, maybe a few day trips and general relax. Sorry for the rant Baby dust to all

Hi there, I've just found this forum. We've been trying for nearly 3 years. Am 40 at end of year and been with OFS nearly a year ( I think? The billion dates in my diary for fertility stuff makes my mind boggle). Have done 3 rounds of clom (first round went hyper and 5 responded so now on 25 mg per day), luteal phase is typically only 7-12 days long. Also Took prog last cycle and that increased cycle to 30 days! (Usually 19-24 days). We have given up alcohol, all caffeine etc and still nothing. A friend of mine did 6 rounds of IVF with no result, then she went to an alternative therapies guy who told her she was too acidic...so they went on an alkaline diet and bingo! 7th time lucky. We are trying to do the alkaline diet too. This cycle Ov is elusive...might have already happened prior to day 12 as bloods and stick tests cant find Lh levels...am wondering if its going to happen much later due to super long cycle last month. Or maybe it's been and gone? We are booked in for Ivf in the next couple of months. Have been reading online research through Uni about acupuncture prior to ET and after ET and the results are quite convincing. So will need to find an acupuncturist who is flexible to work around the vague ET time frames. Great to join you ladies in this confusing and overly technical adventure! Shoopa

Hi Shoopa, Welcome and thanks for sharing your story. I am hanging out for my second appointment in May with hope Barbara might put me on Chlomid - feel like we need something to be different to make it work.
