My friend did the Shettles method twice and got a boy and first time and then a girl the second time. So 50:50 with her which is probably what your chances are randomly anyway??

I'm not a fan of all those types of methods because ultimately it depends on the health and amount of your mans sperm. If he produces tons of healthy boy sperm you are more likely to get a boy no matter what method you try. And timing sex just isn't as appealing to me lol

LOL yeah i don't know what i think. I kinda want to try it as we'd love a girl, but then.. i dunno. In a way i just wanna start trying in Feb & not worry about it. lol. I know i'll be happy in the end either way.

We've decided not to do that. We're just going to see what happens.

Ive read about it and we've (well me) kinda been following it as I want a girl first. Having said that, we just BD around Ov time anyways because I will take anything as long as its happy and healthy .

Good luck

I also heard that it can be seasonal - winter for a girl and summer for a boy.

We are trying the Shettles method, purely for interest though as we will be happy with either sex. I would love a girl but I'm definitely not going to worry if we get a boy - I just want another baby!

My friend tried it and got a boy first time (wanted a boy) and a girl second time (wanted a girl). I figure why not, if at the end of the day we're destined to have 2 boys then that's the way its going to be but we might as well give it a go to get the whole nuclear family thing.

Also, you can eat different types of food depending on how you want your CM to be - acidic for a girl, alkaline for a boy. Quite interesting to read up on it - heaps of info on the net. But yeah just a bit of fun really.

The Chinese Gender Prediction Chart (adjusted for Chinese age) predicted Jack's gender correctly and we're supposed to get a girl this time so we'll see.

The Chinese Gender Predictor was right for us too. & it says girl for every month next year except January. So lets hope it's right. I thought i wanted to do the Shettles Method, but then it just didn't feel like that was right for us. & i can't really be bothered either. lol.
