Hi all - scan this morning and I have one follical which I think they said was 12mm. my estrogen level 600. A couple of other little follical looking things but he mentioned something about maybe polysistic ovaries - i've never been told this before. When I asked further questions I didnt really get answers (was a diff specialist doing the scan). Anyway, he then said I need another scan on Wed to see how they are going and if too many follicals then wont be able to try again this month - but then he said that my levels and the one follical looking good. So I really dont know where I am at. My DH and Iare going to BD every morning and night and fingers crossed - i really are getting desperate

hi flipsta, well second scan today and 1 follical at 21mm and another at 19mm and another small small one - so we are allowed to TTC. Were told the next 4 days to BD and another blood test next Thursday - not sure what this is for? Now do we BD once a day, more than this?? What's best???
/how are you going?

Hi Bree, been a while since I've been on. Good to see that you can try this month!! Yay!! The next blood test will just be to confirm that ovulation occurred. If your DH has a normal sperm count I guess the more the better
Good luck!!

Hi Bree,
Great news that you can try!
Hey if you can go for it more than once a day then go for it! :).
Yeah that next blood test will be to check ovulation occurred.
Fingers and toes crossed for the next few days aye!
I am off for a blood test tomorrow morning to check my estrogen levels so see how that goes.
Good luck

keep me posted and good luck!! I assumed on clomid you automatically ovulated? Now I am concerned that I might not ovulate and then wonder what the next stage is ie if you dont ovulate what can they do - or is this then IVF??
Have you confirmed ovulation yet??
Fingers and toes all crossed for you x

Yes I believe it does help with ovulation so I am sure it is fine. I have read that cycles can get a bit out of whack on clomid.
Have you always ovulated no problems each month?
I did confirm ovulation last month. Had a test done just like you are going to soon.
Don't worry there is plenty they can do if you have problems with ovulation. Have read a bit about it on the net....as you do!
Good luck with the baby dancing and try not to worry about the ovulation side of things, I am sure it is totally fine.

Got my scan on Saturday and had 2 follicles so lots of baby dancing going on right now
Trying very hard to not get too excited though as I don't want to come crashing down to reality if it doesn't happen this month....blimin hard not too though.
Ah well see how it all goes.
Hope everyone is ticking along nicely

Yah Flipsta - enjoy the BD! What CD are you? I am CD18 today but had some EWCM so maybe late OV? i have never monitored signs of OV etc, so just starting on this now. With this cycle of clomid they said to BD CD11 to 18 which we did - but now thinking I didn't OV then!?

Hi guys, first cycle of clomid 25mg (2 mc's in past). Didn't move ovulation forward at all, so still CD 19/20, had bloods for hcg and progesterone today, no hcg, pro in 60's, CD 27. Doesn't look like its my month. I give up.

Hi Dotty, sorry to hear although it's not over just yet! I personally think the first cycle of clomid is a bit of trial and error - you dont know how you will individually react. My first cycle 50mg gave me 5 follicals so we werent allowed to try. This cycle 25mg and 2 follicals. Unsure if/when I ovulated, but having bloods on Thursday which I guess will confirm ovulation?? your prog level being 60 - is this good or bad? Sorry this is new to me. My CD have been 28 - 37 so I am hopefully you will still get the result you are after. How many follicals did you have? What has your specialist suggested?

Not sure about follicles? how do they test for that?!
I just had urine ovulation tests for about 12 days, I seem to ovulate on about day 19/20, with my last 2 misscarriages I found out I was preggers on about day 34, hcg about 12, I am CD27 today (only a week past ovulation) so it wouldn't even show yet, going by the last pregnancies. But won't get hopes up as it hurts too much. Progesterone go's up after ovulation and holds a pregnancy till hcg kicks in (I think) If it drops too early it can cause a misscarriage (which is why they are testing me), if no pregnancy it drops away and you know what shows up.......

Hi Dotty, I took clomid CD2-6 then CD10 had a blood test and CD11 a scan. The blood test showed my estrogen levels, the scan showed the size of my and how many follicals and also showed my endometrium lining was thickening which they said was all good as looked like I would ovulate in a few days. That is when they said to BD CD11 - CD18. I have another blood test this Thur to see if I ovulated. Are you having clomid through a specialist of GP?

Hey Bree,
I am on CD15 so the last 4 days have been full on BDing as my cycles are usually around 24-29 days.
I am pretty sure I ovulated as my CM was really noticeable and I never paid attention to that stuff before trying to get pregnant.
Dotty, I was the same as Bree. First cycle I had too many follicles so they halved my dosage to 25mg and I only got 2 this month. It is frusturating but it ain't over yet and best of luck with the 25mg.
I had my scan on Saturday to see how many follicles were there and I was thinking come on give me 2 eggies not 3!. Bit nervous but got there in the end.
I am trying also to not get my hopes up as no guarantees. Hard though

Hi ladies, well I think I am ovulating now - CM yest and today. (CD19 and 20). FA said after my blood tests and scan to BD end of last week and weekend which we did, but also last night - am hopefull we have caught ovulation. Blood test tomorrow to check, but if I am only ovulating now maybe this is too soon.
Flipsta what is next for you? Are you doing a preg test??

Hi Ladies, well blood test today confirmed ovulation - I now have to wait 10 days and if no AF then I have to have preg blood test - fingers crossed..... Think we might BD a few more days as still a bit of CM....
Apparently my prog level was 127...again no idea what this means.
How is everyone else doing?

Hey Bree - I am not sure how they read the prog result but last cycle my result was 3.4 and they said that I 'possibly did not ovulate' - However this cycle my result was 40.3 which they said that I 'had' ovulated....
