- but ONLY the 4 - 6 month ones. The rest have allergens of some kind.

ahh i see:) sorry didnt even notice it wasn't farex.. the ingrediants in the blue one are Ground rice vegetable oil antioxidant(rosemary extract) and iron...

the yellow.. is the same plus vitamin C... so I will try the yellow one:) maybe it was the rosemary?

Hmmm... our dietitian once suggested that if baby rice were a problem you can make your own, by putting dry rice in the blender until it's well and truely powdered. Good lord us parents of allergy kids have to be such hippies sometimes!

Or you can just totally over boil the rice and then blend it or by now he could probably eat it as is. You can make a big batch and then freeze it.

Maybe it was the rosemary? Something to mention when he gets retested anyway?

My son also reacted to the Blue farex (it was the first 'solid' I introduced to him). His dietician said it was most likely the rosemary extract rather than the rice that caused the reaction.   He was fine on plain rice I made myself and also on another brand of baby rice porridge I bought from an Organic shop (without rosemary in it - a german brand).
