I feel bad there is a playgroup around the corner but I still haven't been there yet, Keira really needs something like that to go too, and Azaria enjoys playing with other kids, bad thing is when they pick up germs all over the show. Least the malls are open now around here, we have moved close to the palms now. WAY on the other side from where we were before. Just been setting up our lounge room, full of balloons for Azarias first birthday tomorrow, where has the time gone??? Naaw my baby is growing up!

i went to my auntys house today and amelia had not had a nap and was a bit wired on sugar so really was not in a good mood . first she was into absolutly everything , throwing tantrums at everything , then she was quiet..... i walked into the kitchen at my auntys to find Amelia had lifted a very large and very heavy 10ltr container of water off the bench and ALL over the kitchen floor . I have no idea how she did it as it was bloody heavy even for me .... while my aunty and i were busy cleaning up that mess and i was flustered and embarassed at that Amelia climbed onto the kitchen table , grabbed my auntys keys and pressed the garage door button downwhich made the door go semi onto my auntys car which caused a massive scratch on her perfect paintwork! i was motified ! so completly embarassed and of course instantly stressed at how on earth i would pay for the damage (my auntys said its fine and i dont have to pay anything altho ill try do something to fix it as i feel very guilty ) . talk about terrible twos! i think this child will be the death of me !
On a happier note Rich and i are back together . we are not living together , going to see how things go and i have my mate living here so a bit hard but we are spending heaps of time together and Amelias LOVES having him around al the time . Its already alot better and alot different , hes making a massive effort

Glad your happy again Julz, just be happy and take it easy
Nia is a beeeeep lol. She wouldn't nap today and we're trying to teach her to sleep with her door open we've been putting her to bed with her door closed and she can't open it. She was staying awake for awhile before but now she comes out mummy and there is so much that she wants like blankets on the baby, music on etc its hard but we'll get there lol.

hi ladies
thought i would update you - we have solved the sleep problem and now she goes to bed by herself thank god as DH has started a new job where he starts at midnight so goes to bed at 3pm which has not been a problem yet as i have been on hols but will see how we go once the term starts back tomorrow. Also hard on us as he gets up at 11pm right when i am going to bed.
for TT we are not there yet she sits on toilet, 50% of the time she does something but am not going to worry until summer hols when i have time to focus on it as spent all of these hols writing reports and marking - arghh! Talking about marking Nikki there was a problem with Emily's (nikki niece) computer and her film got deleted and got it back and now it won't work so not cool as it was awesome, am hoping one of the tech guys can fix it when we get back
she has not been to bad with tantrums only when she has friends over and has to share but was sad as all hols she kept asking to go back to her in-home care and i kept trying to say but you can spend time with Mummy and she replied "NO! Want to go to Aunty Mir's" (she can't say Miriam so calls her that)
Julz glad to hear you are back together again :)
was nice catching up with everyone's news had not been on for a while

Em didn't mention that Cazz, that sucks!!!
I can't believe shes 1 M2K!! time flys. It seems to go faster with the second one too.
Amelia cracks me up .... makes me feel better about Morgans antics hahaha.
Nothing too exciting to report here ... had to go back to the eye clinic at greenlane hosp the other week - Morgan is in the unlucky 2% that the tear duct surgery didn't work for, so she has to go back for more surgery. Hopefully not before Xmas now as I've got too much on.
I'm working 4 days the next 2 weeks instead of 3 so will be busy busy .... Done alot of my Xmas shopping already (all the kids stuff) so feeling quite organised. I can't believe its almost here - this year has gone too quickly!!!

Wow Nikki your good doing Xmas shopping, I've got one present thats it. Although we will be getting Lily a bike, I've just got to get into the shop & buy it so at least we know what her 'big' present will be. She will just get a few books, maybe a puzzle, a couple of items of clothes and some arty stuff split between us & Santa. I've got no idea what to get DP's Mum or my stepfather but must get in contact with M2K as I will get Mum one of the NZ prints & something else.
Lily has a dummy for night time sleeps which is a habit that I kept putting off stopping but last night I cut the end off it so when she put it in her mouth it was 'broken' I thought we wouldn't get any sleep but she only woke up once, told me her dummy was broken and then went back to sleep!! We told her that if she can have another big sleep tonight with no dummy we will go and choose a new puzzle on the weekend for being such a good girl.
I won $75 at work with the Melbourne cup sweepstake so went & spent that yesterday on some new summer clothes for her, with all the sales that are on at the moment we managed to get quite a bit

Coolies, thanks so much for that. Your message made me laugh about the bikes, boobs, or cars, so true, Ive had the other half tell his mates at work and they go, "Oh yeah, but can she design me a one off TSHIIIIIIIRT?" thats all their interested in. not that baby crap haha, young single males for you.
Can't believe that time of the year is almost here again, loved xmas last year as it was Azarias first but this one will be a quiet one, haven't really brought much for them as they have heaps already, outdoor toys, indoor toys, might get them fun stuff like clothes haha, and dvds. Keira is happy enough with pens/paper, hmmmm same as azaria, apparantly they are very tasty
What has everyone got planned for xmas day/pressies? Julz did you get a tramp?? I might wait til Azaria is older then get something like that, lots of fun.

We got Nia the swing set from kmart and a pettiskirt and some wings so far, I haven't thought that far she'll get spoilt as and I'll get some books from somewhere and she'll be hapy as for the day I think we're going to my cousins. Mum says won't you be going out west... hmmm maybe but its easier to finish our night closer to home then to have to drive from west to east at night after a LONG day. Would rather go West in the morning then bring Nia home for a nap if I can.

We are going camping over Xmas with some friends and told family if they want to see us that is where we will be So my Mum & partner are going up come with us for 2 nights and DPs Mum is coming up either Xmas eve or Xmas morning for 1 night. We won't see my 'Dad' (stepfather who is like Dad) for Xmas but will spend a day with him either before or after camping. For Xmas lunch the place we are going to (its a big farm/camp/adventure retreat kind of thing) are doing a Xmas lunch so we all thought we will do that (saves any cooking!)
I would like to be at home just for Xmas day so we could call round to my stepfathers but DP is on his 23rd day of work without a break totday and it looks like they will only get 1 day off before Xmas so its what he wants to do and I think he needs the break & rest that will come from being away from home.
Lily has been rambling on about going camping, she is looking forward to it as the couple we are going with have a 4 year old boy who Lily adores and she has been told she will have a bike then too.
I still hadn't got round to getting the bike so went in on Saturday to get it only to find they have sold out!!! They have some coming in on Wednesday but heaps of people are after them so I might go in tonight after work and pay for one in case I miss out again! Actually I might google them now and make sure they are not for sale anywhere else cheaper!!!

HELLO.....Any body out there?
How is everyone?
February has been full on here. My Grandfather passed away (which we knew was coming but it still came as a shock when it actually happend) then the day I came back to work after all that I was told that our office is closing down on the 31st of March so I will be out of a job DP has had dreaded man-flu so is impossible to live with. We had my mum & her partner at our place for a week. We've been up to Auckland for a concert.
Roll on March, I need a relaxing month
Have been looking round at what is out there work wise and there isn't much which is worrying. Although DP & I thought part time will be better as by the time I get home at the moment it 5.30ish which is getting late to get stuff done.
Work has offered to relocate me to Whangarei, Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Matamata, Wellington, Melbourne or Perth but at the moment DP has 4 or 5 months confirmed work with probably more after that and seem he earns more than me it would be better to stay where he has work. Although Tauranga, Wellington & Melbourne are inviting it just seems like a hassle (or maybe I'm just too lazy to move again )
I'm looking forward to spending more daytime hours with Lily though as I feel like I miss out on so much. I'm a bit worried about how she will adjust from being in fulltime DC to nothing. I'm thinking it might be best to cut her back to a couple of days instead of just cutting it out altogether.
Anywho, hope everyone is happy & healthy

Hi everyone, we have just moved to Birkenhead, Auckland. I have a beautiful 3 year old daughter. We would love to get to know more families up here. If you know of a coffee group we can join, could you please send me some info.
Cheers
