Congrats Amber and a girl! I never expected that! She looks just gorgeous. Well done you!
We are home and I have a beautiful wee bubba! Hard to believe that last week I thought I'd be pregnant forever. He is so lovely and smells so yummy and new born-y. His skin is really soft and although he was big he seems like the tiniest wee thing to me all snuggled up. .I ended up having an elective C Section and am still in two minds about whether I made the right decision. The head was still high a week overdue and the scan said ten pounds so I probably did. I'll never know so I just have to be positive and the main thing is that I have my precious wee boy out. He is feeding well and so far has been reasonably settled. He is just perfect! Isn't is so cool that all the bubbas are here. We have all done so well.
Thanks so much for all your good wishes. Hope you are all doing well. Will be back on when I get some spare time. Having a toddler at home certainly makes things busier!!!! Hospital seems like a hotel in comparison!

I'm amazed how you ladies with toddlers handle it too! I can barely walk!
Katie, how are you feeling after your c-sect? The recovery was the one thing I was dreading when we all thought I was going down that path.
I would have wanted an elective cs too if my scan showed 10lb! Mine showed 8lb at 38+6 and she came out as 9lb 4oz so they can be out a fair bit
OK, I must stop posting in this thread, but old habits and all that..

Ditto to if they encourage you to push, for a few hours, at 7cm.
