I'm so over this!!!
My little man, healthy energetic, good weight height etc..... VERY limited diet, not for health reasons but I've created a monster!!
This all started when he was going onto solids back in the baby will eat whatever I give him stage, I stated working full time, getting home at 5.45 each night and so was my husband and my little man. So long days for all... I started giving hime quick easy meals that required throwing in the oven or microwave, no preparation (as in fries, home made burgers, tegal chicken bites, spaghetti).
Now he's 4 and he'll eat fruit, spaghetti, sandwiches (only jam honey or luncheon in them), cheese segments, rice crackers, only vege is beetroot, only meat if it's in a burger, sometimes a sausage.
I'm suffering from depression, so 99% of the time he gets whatever he wants because I can't handle the stress. He will however eat Delmaine stuffed pasta with parmesan cheese on top, bizaare!! So I try to get the ones that have meat and veg in them, I do buy baby food (veg) and stir as much as I can hide in with his spag, so I don't care if he eats spag all week, at least I know he's getting veg!!
So this is the year I lose weight at the gym, sort my depression out and get my son eating properly, pleae help. :o(

As a kid this is what I lived on, and this isn't an exageration this is seriously all the food I would eat: potato, bread, spreads, cheese, yoghurt, flavoured milk, chips, buscuits, crackers and apples

I survived on that until I left home. So your boy is better than I was lol.

Personally if it were Daniel being like that I'd decide of a choice of 2 meals I'd be willing to make that night and then ask which one we should have tonight and thats what I'd make. If he didn't eat it, then tough sh*t. If he eats what I think is a satisfactory amount then I'd offer dessert (something you know he loves) and then set up a reward chart or something similar. I wouldn't make a huge fuss over not eating. But I'd make a big deal over him eating something new or eating lots.
