Imaginations...

Today I took Maya and the gremlins out for a walk and on the way we were talking about flowers and I was pointing out daisies and dandelions and buttercups (yes, that is the total extent of my botanical knowledge ) and Maya started singing this song about buttercups.
"Buttercup, buttercup on my bread."
So I asked her where she learnt the song. She said she made it up. I said that's very clever. She said "I thought about it in my heart for a while and then it came into my heart so I remember it."
Wow! That's deep for a four year old!

Cam has quite an interesting imagination at times. I love 4 year olds, you can have a great conversation with them and the imagination is amazing. What a lovely way to express herself! Write it in her 'baby' book (or her Well Child Book or somewhere) cos these little memories are so precious, yet so easy to forget.

Hannah has the singing voice of an angel... well, an angel that doesn't know what a note is if it slapped her in the face. She is always singing little made up songs but the words usually just involve names.

The other day it was "Hannahhhh and Mummyyyyy... Hannahhh and Mummyyyy... Hannahhhh and Mummyyyyyyyy"

Don't give up your day job Han.

LOL Nikki, I made up a song for the gremlins that goes "we are small, we are furry, we are fat" and Maya loves singing it to them, but Gandt reckons it's mean coz it'll give them self esteem issues thinking they're fat and furry .
