I had a big talk with my midwife about the home VBAC I am planning. She is very experienced and has attended many VBACs and home VBACs. She said in her entire career she has never seen a uterine rupture, and none of her colleagues have ever seen one either.
She also said, in her experience, women who have had recent abortions, or more than one abortion were at much higher risk of having problems, mainly excessive bleeding, during birth.

It has definitely put my mind more at ease!

Thats good to know Mel....I stalked you!!
I am really excited about the HBAC now. I had a practice with my birthing pool the other day, and I have everything all ready to go.
Hoping this bub comes a couple of weeks early. I am pretty sure the head is engaged and I have been having BH constantly so they are all good signs.

I was so sure Ollie was engaged and he didnt engage until a couple of days before labour... I really rate the naturopharm pre birth and labour sprays, I think they are what made the difference for me!

Agreed on the sprays! I used them for both my hy homebirth & the following birth.
Very quick easy births, so very very different from my c-sections (I laboured first both times)
