Topic: Version 3 Pop-In nappies Posted: 31 December 2010 at 10:32pm |
Has anyone else tried the V3 Pop-In Dream-Dri nappies yet?
I got one on pre-order that arrived a few days ago, and I'm very impressed! They are a lot trimmer and less bulky than the V2 Dream-Dris, and oh so soft and silky! (At least, thats before it gets used and rewashed many times!) Will wash it another time before I try it at night, but the dri-nite booster fits around the insert so much better (much like with the original bamboo insert).
Campbell wore it for a few hours today, and it fitted under a tight pair of shorts nicely, much like an Itti D'Lish! I am very tempted to sell my other Dream-Dris and get more of these!

Hee hee, hate to make you guys buy more nappies!
Used the new V3 nappy with a dri nite booster last night on Campbell, and just as absorbent as my other Pop-ins. I like that I can use this nappy no problems for day and night!
Good on ya Close Parent, on making a really good nappy into an excellent nappy!

Ooh yay for success!! Hmm maybe I will need some for the new baby, seeing as I'm sure Chelsea will still be in night nappies for a while yet - even though she's toilet-trained during the day now her night nappies are still saturated in the morning. And surely 5 pop-ins isn't enough for *two* bubbas, right

No, I think you need more Pop-Ins too, Rach!
Seriously, I reckon they'd be a better fit on a younger baby than the old Dream Dris, so Chelsea can use the older ones and the new bubba can use the new ones!

The only thing I dont like about the dream dry ones (i have the V2 i think), is once my girl has done a pee the microfibre absoloutely stinks! I have done a strip wash and hot wash and left them in the sun and rain for a bit, and no matter what they smell when pee'd on. When dry they dont.

ooo new nappies.... soo tempting!
Aethalia - try adding some dettol rinse to the final rinse cycle (or an extra after-wash rinse cycle). it kills off the bacteria that can cause the smells...

I'm going to buy one!! 4 of my pop-ins (V2s) are microfibre which I like way better than the one bamboo one I have (the rough bamboo fabric makes my girl's bum red) so have decided to sell the bamboo one and replace it with a new V3 one
Just waiting for the chic cheeks lady to get back to me about how to order one lol as this dummy couldn't see where to do that from their facebook page
Ps Aethalia, hope you can figure out how to make your nappies not smell after a wee! Lucky I can't smell so it doesn't bother me if my nappies stink haha

Yay Rachel, exciting! I've always just emailed Nicky to order nappies from her, I'm pretty sure that's how she normally takes orders.
Jade, yay for nearly paying off your layby! You sure do have a great stash ready and waiting for when your bubba arrives!
