The original is bamboo, V3/dream dri is microfibre... Original is slightly more absorbent, takes longer to dry but is natural fibre... V3 dries fast, slightly less absorbent and manmade fibre. Pretty sure those are the only differences. I don't have the Dream Dri so I don't really know for sure.

I prefer the trimmer covers that come with the Dream Dri V3, but probably prefer the original bamboo inserts for absorbency.

The Dream Dri V3 replaced the V2...there have been no changes to the original.
ETA: That minky does look nice and comfy!

Yep, the V3 inserts are gorgeously soft and stay that way after many washes! Only downside is they are not as absorbent as the bamboo originals by themselves, but still work wonderfully with the bamboo dri nite booster.

It just says dream dri, It donesn't look like bamboo, it's fluffy terry toweling stuff. I got it off TM brand new so I'm not sure.
WHat I hate about it is the stpid flap at the front that you tuck in. No matter how well its tucked in it ALWAYS sneaks up during the night. She woke up soaking wet hte other morning. GAH!!!

I actually didn't really like the pop in until I used it on the biggest setting...it was all just a bit fiddly with the flaps and the snaps at the front. Much better now though...
