Topic: How do you tutto? Posted: 29 June 2011 at 7:24pm |
Recently its been revealed everyone tuttos a bit different! Tell me how you do..
I either snap the longest one to itself and the mini booster to the short one or the mini booster to the long one and short one all alone. The short one always goes on top and the longest one is always snapped to the shortest length.
And you?

I have extra mini boosters, so each hourshaped one has a mini one. I always snap the blue snaps on the shortest setting as they dont fit well on the biggest.

Similar to you.
Long one on it's own and short one with the booster. Unless we're going out then it's long one with the booster and always on shortest setting. At night I add a booster to the short and the long and put them all in.

I put booster on the long one, and then always snap it to the shortest snap, as you all say, it fits the best that way. And I put purple to yellow snaps and vise versa. And have the short one on the top.
If I'm wanting more, then I boost the short one with a spare microfibre booster I have.

I use the long one with the booster, I'm unsure bout the blue snaps as the long booster only has one so I'm bit confused bout what you guys mean by that. I don't use the small one but after reading what people do I'm tempted to try a different way.

I dont know. I watched some y*u t*be clips on snapping the tutto, and it was suggested that its better that way for a boy? So that's what I do. But I'm sure it doesn't really matter.
fairy1, the long one has four snaps on the end of it, so most of us snap it on the first one down as opposed to the corresponding one for what size you've snapped the cover on.

Interesting M02E...i asked because i've had a couple leaks out the top lately. DS has been asleep each time and is a back sleeper so its not that he's face down and gushing out the front. Janini did you blank out y*ut*be or is that a banned word on OB? I havent actually watched the videos yet...oops. I should though. And i guess that would make sense then all the blue bulk bits would be more front i guess?

I'm still working on it, but normally I snap mini booster to the longest one and have it on the shortest setting and snap that on the back if its a longer time I need it for I snap the short one on to.

bowie, no I blanked it out. Just so if people search y*u t*be it doesn't bring up this page.
mo2oe, hmm interesting.
Look up the itti bitti fb page, and click on the itti bitti channel on the left hand side. And there is a video of how to use the tutto inserts. (called how to customise the tutto) And that should help you out.
bowie-And that also says to have the long insert snapped to the front for a boy. which means purple to yellow, so more absorbency at the front.

I use all the boosters ie long with the mini attached and the other short one all snapped to the same colour. The short one always goes on top. I only get leaks if he does a super wee which usually over night & the night one I attach an extra bamboo mini booster.
I also still use the hip snaps lol
If I only used the one insert I'd snap it to the front regardles of if it was the long or the short.

Yellow to yellow, purple to purple. Booster on the long part, set to shortest setting, hourglass one positioned on top.

The y*ut*ube video is great. I'm going to try putting the yellow snaps to the purple snaps and have the long part on the smallest setting. thanks for the thread, been veyr helpful to me.

I took the trifold from the d'lish, and the shorter insert from the tutto, gives more absorbancy in front with D, the the remaining insert from each + booster for Jae to get it more 'centered' never leaked yet and I inadvertently left him in his for 5-6 hours. Prob could have gone longer if he hadnt woken for feeding.

I have mine on largest setting, so long one with mini booster snapped in, yellow to yellow. then short one (often with extra microfibre mini booster) snapped purple to purple and if she is napping I fold that under and to the front (short one is always on top or it doesn't fit as well) so theres extra absorbancy at the front for her tummy sleeping :D.

Interesting that some have it on the longest setting, even snapped to the highest rise it looked to me like it would stick out the top!
