Congratulations to all those expecting a new arrival in August 2011. This is the thread where you'll find friendship, advice and fellowship from others expecting at the same time as you.
Good luck with your pregnancies!

aww congrats little red and the rest of the mums-to-be who'll be in this thread.
August is a special month to me, both my boys were born in August. Great time of year to have a bub, being that you're pregnant through winter so you have your belly to keep you warm.

YAY! Wow so we are the first two!
I'm on the hunt for a midwife today, want to get one quickly so it is all sorted, with my other 3 I just went through my dr but she is just too far away and I have a feeling I won't make it over to NS hospital so will have to opt for waitakere lol - midwife it is!!

Yeah, I am going to sort out my midwife today too, Freckle recommended hers to me. I would ask my friends but we're not telling anyone I'm pregnant yet. I wish I had listened harder now when my friends were banging on about their midwives!
I also have to ring my specialist and make an appt for an early scan, he wants to do it around 5 weeks, and also do some BTs to check the HCG levels.
Have you told anyone yet??

Have told a few people not too many. Want to wait to do the big announcement til we can make sure Peanut is fine.
We told the kids last night was pretty funny, miss8 clapped her hands and was smiling alot, DS asked if it could be a boy and he could call it Theron after his best friend and miss 5 looked at me and said "Iknow mummy! gosh" Then proceeded to tell me that it must be really tiny because I'm not fat yet!

I just jacked up my midwife and I have my first appointment with her on Thursday arvo which is exciting. Plus I am having a scan with my specialist on Weds next week, so it's all on!
