I thought I heard the tail end of a conclusion in this story on the radio today but there seems to be nothing on the net yet. Anyone heard what's happened?

Ummm... there's a report about a letter sent to a Dutch newspaper containing a map with a cross on it and some vague directions. I'll see if I can find a link for that.

I know it doesn't change the fact that she is missing, but I just can't get over them leaving their children alone at night, and in a foreign country!
I so hope they find their little girl alive, it is such a sad and scary thing to happen.

Looks like the searched the area and didnt find a body there. Phew!! I was hoping they wouldn't and it was just some sicko that sent the letter trying to feel important.
I know what you mean Mel about the parents leaving them alone. I keep wondering about that - I wouldn't ever leave my children alone - even if I was in a resort. It just wouldn't sit right with me.

I find it hard to leave my 14 year old looking after my 9 years old. let alone a 3 year old and 2 two year olds. No matter how many times they came to check on them. Theres such a thing as a baby sitting service and looked like they weren't short on money. But yeah wouldn't wish it on them for making a mistake.

it is so sad.. but like everyone has said, I just don't get how they could leave her (and siblings???) alone in a hotel/motel? in a foreign country all by themselves while they went out? I hate leaving Gaby alone in the lounge while I go to the toilet LOL

Has there been any more info on this? I've looked on news websites but it seems to have gone quiet.

There have been 3 sightings throughout europe but one of them has been confirmed it wasn't her (the person took a pic on their phone) and the other 2 have been loose ends. They have updates on the news everyday here but its not looking very good. On the off chance shes still alive I would say she is being very well hidden.
