Never heard that before, but have no idea what blood groups by girls are.

I have never heard of that one before
I am AB- and have no allergies. Never have had.
Sam however is AB+ and has loads of allergies - but I think it is due to DH's family being riddled with them!

My sister is O+ and has them.
We are all O's in my family (a mix of - and +) and me and my little sister (that also has allergies) both have excema.
Would be a very interesting thing to research thou.

I've never heard that either? My girls are all A+ like their daddy, I'm O- and I don't have any allergies (well food allergies, I have drug allergies), my brothers and sis are all O as well and they have allergies.

I am an AB blood type and have done quite a bit of research on it. Apparently ABs have slightly odd auto-immune responses so the body can have a tendancy to turn on itself during times of illness (usually more serious illnesses such as cancer). ABs have a slightly higher pre-disposition to allergies, and other auto-immune related conditions such as candida, rheumatoid athritis (sp??) to name a few.
As with anything there is usually a combo of factors involved and the blood type is just one of those.
Hope that helps. :)

Do most people know what blood type their children are? I only know me - DH doesn't even know what he is!

I only know coz I am RH- so all my babies have to have their cord blood tested at birth to determine blood group. I know I'm O- so since all the girls are A+, Willie must be too.
This bub will 99.5% likely be - too, as only .5% of Maori people are RH -, but she could be O or A.

They test your babies blood type from the cord if you are RH-. I know I am O- and so are the boys and DH is A-.
