Hi there, I got a couple of motherease nappies from an op shop and they are brilliant. Does anyone know if they are available in NZ? I think they are an american brand...

Hi there
Somewhat late and am sure you've found something by now, but I have a whole set of Motherease nappies that am about to list on Trademe. Let me know if you're still wanting more of these and I shall direct you to the listing :-)

Caitlin I am currently looking into the different kids of cloth nappies - with 5y/o I just used the standard white cloth with the pink strip at the top with pins and an over nap so I am excited by the idea of liners and all that! The amount of differing brands out there is overwhelming! How did you find the mother ease nappies?

Hi there. I admit I never used the Motherease ones in the end. The woman I bought them off really loved them, but I had a few brands to try and really enjoyed using the ones my sister in law recommended. They're Bambino Mio covers with pre-fold inserts and disposable liners. We used them right through to my son had to go to daycare and found they never leaked, were super easy to use and clean and just seemed so easy. So the Motherease never came out of the box lol. Am selling them now and understand they are very popular, see reviews here: http://www.productreview.com.au/p/mother-ease-one-size.html
But if buying again, I'd probably still go for Bambino Mio as they worked really well and you can pretty much put any liners inside the covers. Website link below, but I bought off Trademe http://www.bambinomio.com/nz/

Oh also, having tried other varieties I really wasn't keen on the pocket variety. You have to fiddle around to insert the inner and every time you change it's a full change and I couldn't get them to work without leaking, although I gather there's a knack to it. The Bambino Mio ones you can just remove the pre-fold and wipe out the cover if it's just wet, so you only need about three or four covers, maybe five if being cautious. We only used during the day too, but with added booster you can use for night.
