Hi,

Does anyone out there know of NZ companies that offer some paid paternal leave? Perhaps some governmental department?

Some universities do. Otago gives two weeks paid to 'partners'

Auckland Transport gives 2 weeks paid paternal leave. At least I *think* it's paid. I can double check tomorrow.

do you know that even if your wife isnt working there is some payment she can get? its not heaps but might help if you need to get time off.. also, if you are working somewhere you have to be there for 6 months to be eligible for PPL anyway?
