Topic: Scar Questions Posted: 30 January 2009 at 7:50pm |
Just wondering for those who have had a C Section and then had another pregnancy afterwards, did your scar get a bit tender at about 12 weeks, like when I sneeze I feel like I have to hold it sometimes, and I just get a bit of "uncomfyness" there, not pain, just pressure and stuff. Also it looks a different colour, but its not sore at all!
Just wondering if its normal!

Yep I had that with #2, I had the odd twinge with #3 and #4 (up to 20 weeks). It worried me too but it was no biggie. If you are concerned, ask your mw though.

i had that too.....i still get it occasionally when i sneeze, but i'm used to it so it's almost a normal reaction to hold it in anticipation

**puts hand up**
I had that with #2 & #3 as well. Pretty much throughout the pregnancy right to the end.
Felt weird even after I had Erika naturally, which kind of sucked LOL

I get it on and off, usually at night time....but when I sneeze or cough I feel like I need to hold that area lol
So weird! and Ive noticed that have a "dip" there where my tummy is starting to stick out but not where the scar is, does this evetually pop out aswell? (If you know what Im on about lol).

ohh glad I found this thread! I was wondering if I would get pains as the uterus grew, best to be prepared so I don't panic
