Heya ladies, im just lurking around and noticed this thread, my names Julia , im 23 and i live in new brighton in chch and iv been part of the due july 09 thread for the past 7 mths, i had my wee baby girl Amelia on the 13th july so shes now 2and a half wks old, anyway i just notice that u are all in chch, i would love to catch up with fellow chch mums at some point, hope im not intruding on the group
Hey Julia I'm 24 and live in Southshore so nice and close My girls are 14 months so a wee bit older. This group is a lovely bunch although we are all pretty well spread out around CHCH. Feel free to join in anytime! The kids in the group are all different ages which is great.
Always cool to see a new face and we all love to drool over newborns hehe.

Usually people take turns hosting at their houses. I'm not sure who's doing the next one but I think theres is one on Monday? I can't make that one though as I have a doc appointment for the girls to get theirs shots early now that the measles is making an appearance
I know some people prefer to meet new Mums in a public place first although most I don't think really mind. Maybe ask in the other CHCH meet up thread?
the meetups for the regulars are every second monday... we alternate houses between kaipoi, barrington, richmond and bishopdale.. but you are welcome anytime or make a time and day and see who can come:)

I hardly ever make it to the meet ups though either because a) Bella is at daycare (she is 2) or
b) Ben is sick and I have to be careful with him and bugs etc.
